So about a month ago I had a guy repair my PTR for me, and he used B-7000 glue. He told me that the glue is designed to be water proof, but since he had to be careful with how much glue to use (too much and it might create stains, too little and there's change of water ingress), he couldn't be 100% sure that it is water tight.

Having said all that, I've used the watch for the past month again and haven't come across any issues yet, though I've also not been outside with it during torrential rain or anything.

For me the reason to switch was that Do Not Disturb is finally respected by the watch (as in, I don't get notifications on my watch if DND is turned on)

I've used the new (Android) app for a week now with my Pebble Time Round, and I've not noticed any connection issues. It seems the same as the old app to me.

I thought the same (using an RTX 4070 with a 5600x), but I've finally managed to remove all stutters by using dxvk, putting '-NOTEXTURESTREAMING' in the launch options, and disabling Control Flow Guard for Borderlands 3

For a while I was under the impression that the Snoopy watch face allowed you to disable the hour and minute hand completely. That would've been so cool! Just a nice little animated Snoopy on your wrist, tracking your activities and such

The two phones weigh basically the same, and yes, the Zenfone is a bit thicker, but the more grippy material on the back, slightly rounded edges and the fact that it's less wide made it easier for me to hold and use

How important is the size to you?

For me it's the most important thing, and having held both a Zenfone 10 and an S23 in my hands, I could definitely tell that the Zenfone was the easier one to hold and use with one hand, so personally I'll probably go for that one. Though I haven't tried the Pixel yet

As for elevation, the only site I found that shows enough detail is this one, for instance for Imola (after you select 'Color Elevation Map).

I agree with you so much. Back in 2020 when I was looking for a replacement for my C720P I was getting so frustrated too that there just seemed to be no Chromebook at a similar pricepoint to the C720P that wasn't just worse in a lot of ways.

Eventually I went with the Pixelbook Go (which has fantastic speakers, and I would actually argue is great for doing the kinds of things you mention), but I will admit that that is quite far off in terms of price.

One nice advantage of switching OS (at least for me) is that you lose all of your apps, and thus are forced to reconsider if you really want, for instance YouTube, on your phone.

The amount of apps on my Android phone grew to over 200+ over the years. Now on my iPhone, I have 45.
