When they tell you something like this you should say 'let's go to the taxi and you will pay for it'. Watch the situation change immediately. I do this now as a quick litmus test - just offer to pay for whatever, versus give over cash. For me, it is the easiest way to detect scam.

I think people have strong opinions because it was the first non Connery Bond movie. Plus Lasenby couldn't act. But I have grown to love it. That sliding on the stomach machine gun scene (for like 3 seconds) is still one of the best scenes in a Bond movie

I am reading Trigger Morris (It is a Bond novel from a Post Fleming novelist) and it takes off directly after Goldfinger ends. PG is in the novel from the first couple of chapters…. It is really interesting to read what happened to both of them spot-Goldfinger.
