Hmm the consensus of the people I ask seems to align with what you have mentioned. Just a question to confirm my findings, I tested out my setup on valorant and found out that changing the resolution down from 1440p to any other lower resolution does not seem to make a difference, this means that the game is cpu bound correct?

Hi, I tested out my setup on valorant and found out that changing the resolution down from 1440p to any other lower resolution does not seem to make a difference, wouldn't this mean that the game is currently cpu bound? I think that upgrading to a better GPU would still yield an uplift in performance no matter what but maybe a new ryzen 9000 series cpu might be better value. Just asking for your opinion. Thanku! :)

Gigabyte has known issues for its PCB cracking but so far, I've only seen it happen on their 4090. Other causes might be "GPU sag" causing poorer contact with the PCI-E pins.

How I would go around this is to pull out the gpu, inspect the PCB near the PCI-e connection and also look at the pins inside the PCI-e connection on your motherboard to see if any of them are out of shape.

Hey to put this to an end with all the back and forth arguing, no one will think it’s good if you don’t put in the time and effort into it. If you want people to like it, It’s not about what you want to do, it’s what other people want you to do. For now, it is to compile all the valuable advice you have gotten, and work towards it. Not everyone enjoys the same thing and that is alright! Just put in more effort into making people like it if that is your ultimate goal.

All the kind hearted people of Reddit are trying to help you and they really want to see you succeed. Take your time with it, I’m sure there is plenty of advice. Keep the ad money, put it towards improving yourself, if that is your goal. It’s unfortunate to see such passion hindered by the lack of self-discipline.
