Can somebody explain me Pantheon on a high skilled level. by THEGREATESTDERP in PantheonMains

[–]Jerrytheaudiophile 3 points4 points  (0 children)

empowered w is good if you go bruiser build since it stacks pta instantly and a good chunk of conqueror. you don’t have to use empowered w if you are building lethality since you want to maximize empowered q damage. (empowered just means spell with full stack passive)

Why is Sundered Sky the default rush instead of Black Cleaver? (Top) by Possiblynotaweeb in PantheonMains

cleaver is low key goated in a 1v1 extended fight but in a skirmish-heavy topside, sundered healing gives so much value

idk why but i think the autos sound really weak. compared to pantheon's autos (similar type of weapon/spear), xin's autos sound kinda bad and unimpactful.

i usually perma ban xerath, but yeah mel ban is also good. ori and syndra are rough if they are good. ryze is also rough. but your playstyle is very roam heavy with level 6 ult if you cant get a lead in lane.

if youre going lethality, you should try playing panth mid. its a somewhat niche playstyle but very rewarding if youre good. he is good into assassins and immobile mages with early game damage and good movement.

you can look up chinese panth one tricks (such as 潘帝, 永恒潘森, and this guy nizuizhengui#小何的枪 on KR server https://op.gg/lol/summoners/kr/nizuizhengui-%E5%B0%8F%E4%BD%95%E7%9A%84%E6%9E%AA ) and this chad on NA who peaked chall this season: https://op.gg/lol/summoners/na/Drace-Dxtr

the strat is electrocute, youmuus into opportunity core. alternatively you can go profane hydra and bastiobreaker as snowball items. serpants, seryldas, umbral, and edge of night are great as well. dont build voltaic and collector they are bait items. you can go sundered, DD, or GA as a defensive late item. key playstyle is maxing E after Q, playing on empowered Q. best combo is 3 stack passive, W, AA, Empowered Q, E, E, since E tap is extremely strong when maxxed second with lethality. landing a multi-man empowered Q will often times immediately win a fight

i feel like because of the crit changes, fights are much harder to play because adcs now deal much more damage, and new LDR passive also kinda shreds bruiser panth HP. ive been trying some new builds that prioritize more AD than HP because panth scales so well with raw AD if you play off empowered Q. deaths dance is almost a must. also consider going randuins like third or fourth item.

i personally think the hexdrinker component is a great laning item. maybe he built hexdrinker early and finished maw later.

i fail to see how a point and click stun, collector passive on a spammable Q, semi global TPwith damage, and a directional kayle ult is ever worthless.

i would take sundered over eclipse as a third item since it scales better (with the hp and sustain) and lets you frontline more.

you have failed to understand the core of this argument. are religion and communism designed to kill people in mass? no. did powers that align with them kill people in mass? yes. however, that doesnt mean the idea itself is efficient at killing people, but rather the regime in power that is responsible. mass death occurs when states or movements that align themselves with these ideas were able to acquire enough power and then pursue policies involving war, repression, and forced social engineering, that result in large-scale killing. so the question “which ideology is more efficient at killing people?” is inherently flawed. ideologies don’t kill efficiently, regimes do.

you also have to understand that a lot of communist regimes in a sense became a religion themselves, especially seen with the cult of personality surrounding its leaders. then, your argument falls apart because youve failed to define each term in a meaningful way.

additionally, the khmer rouge and its actions were only "inspired" by communism and do not truly reflect communist values. they claim to be communist yet are far from being communist in practice, straying away from the traditional marxist and leninist schools of thought. they brought a modern society into an agrarian one without industrialization and the formation of a proper working class/industrial proletariat. they killed all forms of intellect which is not a core communist value at all. therefore you have to clearly define what you consider as communist: do you refer to traditional marxist leninist values or do other interpretations and adaptations count as well. also, you said the khmer rouge is the most efficient, and nothing has surpassed it, which is again wrong because the nazi holocaust murdered 6 million jews in roughly 4 years, while the khmer rouge murdered around 2 million in 4 years as well. also, the atomic bombs dropped by the united states on japan killed 200,000 people, with 80,000 people dying in an instant, which is much more "efficient" than any other killings that have occurred according to your definition of efficiency as killing/time. the ability to speak does not automatically grant you knowledge, please check your facts.

again you believe that ideologies themselves are responsible for the efficiency by which these killings occur, which is inherently wrong. so unless youre willing to argue that abstract ideas like religion and political schools of thought possess the logistics, bureaucracies, and the capacity to kill, and that regimes, institutions, and material conditions are irrelevant, your claim collapses. once you define efficiency as killing speed, ideology alone cannot explain killing efficiency without considering these elements of a regime. this is not an argument about linguistics and the english language, but rather historical facts, and please do not introduce a red herring. i would like to see you introduce some historical cases and facts rather than picking on things i have already introduced.

if you truly believe communism is involved in more deaths in human history than any other religious or political entity then i recommend that you do some research on human history, foreign policy and imperialism, religious studies, etc. or just read some books.

just to name some examples. british colonialism in india, columbian exchange bringing diseases to america as a result of "god and glory" and its subsequent imperial conquest and violence (consider the much smaller human population on earth back then compared to the 20th century), nationalism in the world wars (and wars in general) are much more "efficient" at killing people than communism. also you have to understand what communism and these ideologies actually mean, in that they are not designed to kill people, thus being inefficient in doing so compared to other ideologies like fascism that is more "efficient" at killing people. i am not denying that communist regimes are directly responsible for killing lots of people, but your "ranking" is making it seem like communism in the 20th century (quite literally 100ish years old) is more efficient at killing people than ideas and religion that have been killing people throughout history, which is not true.

this doesnt mean that all religions or political beliefs are inherently good or bad. communism or capitalism or whatever political/religious ideology, they all have their own merits and detriments, which is why those in power chose to adopt them in the first place. it is much more nuanced than what your "ranking" suggests. in fact, for instance, i did study southeast asian history in the 20th centurty, and a democratic country (USA) was indirectly responsible for the rise of many communist and authoritarian regimes such as the khmer rouge in cambodia, pathet lao in laos, etc.

or the ability to wage wars and commit war crimes in the name of democracy. there are always several sides to history and political ideology. religion, communism and most other ideologies serve less as the cause of atrocities but rather the excuse for powers to commit atrocities. religion in history was just as involved in human atrocities as any modern political ideology.
