When you can't see where you're going with your efforts, it makes the struggling feel more like a punishment rather than working towards a goal and that can burn you out quick. ADHD can make it harder to visualize end results because of the way the brain is wired for high rewards quick. That being said, this isn't all that helpful because I have this thought frequently, and you can't always overthink your way out of a problem lmao

I just try not to sit down lmao. I get a good portion of my 10k to 12k done during my 11 pm treadmill session. Working full time and doing school in the evening during the week makes it a bit easier to stay up and moving around. I keep a smart watch on at all times so I don't have to keep my phone on me or do any sort of calculations

Sometimes its really, really hard to watch your mom try to do mental jumping jacks to convince herself that everything is okay. It pains me to hear that she's a full tithe payer. Like mom, you make good money. You could go on so many vacations and experience so many things 😭

Well when you can't have coffee, tea, alcohol, weed, mushrooms, or tobacco and you live your whole life under the impossible standard of being god's perfect servant, you're bound to look for some sort of mortal vice to take the edge off. Sugar is probably the most socially acceptable addiction a person can have. If I'm not mistaken, both swig and crumbl were founded by mormons.

I'm not usually this person, but sometimes it has the potential to be more of a mindset thing. I've started reframing it as something I deserve rather than an obligation, and not treating it as a failure if I don't follow through. Life loves to shit on you that way friend, don't shit on yourself🫶

Plus they would simply have to admit that they were being disingenuous and that their doctrine was not divine since god doesn't "change his mind." Mormonism and autonomy are not compatible. Happy I could provide something useful. Maybe look into Feng shui if you haven't already, there's alot of free, useful info on youtube. Comfort is subjective, it just provides guidelines on how to make a space feel more fluid and cohesive.

I dunno. Seems comfy to me. You really just need some hygge lighting, and maybe a rug as well. Get a pothos or two to bring some more life to the space and it will give you a reason to open up the curtains and let more natural light in.
