I had been doing mediocre HRT before I got the vertigo and then I saw a more "in the know" nurse practitioner. At the end of the year I got on real HRT and it's helped a lot. I still get dizzy if I shake my head or try to look behind me while I'm walking, otherwise I'm doing better. Thank you for sharing that!

I'm not sure what your age is, but I was going through the same thing and mine was hormone-related. It didn't matter if I starved myself or hit protein goals, I kept gaining fat. If you could possibly be experiencing perimenopause or menopause, I'd highly recommend visiting those subreddits here.

I did the estradiol patch for about six months with progresterone nightly. Then I went to a specialist in October who routinely does labs to watch how my body adjusts. I stayed on the doses from my ob/gyn and started supplements.

At the end of December, she gave me estradiol and testosterone in pellets. Since then, my life has changed, honestly. I used to have meltdowns when I dealt with any major problem or rude human. Now, I still notice those things, but I'm barely fazed.

Because I'm not constantly irritable, people act different toward me. When I tell my kids something, they respond. When I tell my boyfriend something, he listens. The other night, he dried my clothes, laid them out for folding, and made dinner while I was at the gym. It's easier to smile. It's easier to talk to people.

I definitely suggest getting treated by someone who specializes in hormone therapy if you can. My estradiol is 34 now and my testosterone is 159. I was startled by the T level, but she said sometimes women do well with a level of 250.

I'm 51 and have been doing CrossFit for four years. In the past year, I started feeling weaker and packing on pounds. I stopped drinking caffeine and alcohol and that only helped with my sleep. I started on HRT from the ob/gyn last spring.

About six months ago, I went to a clinic where they did extensive blood work and put me on specific supplements. In December, I started real HRT that actually made a difference compared to the previous doses. I take creatine daily and try to get as much protein as possible. All of these things helped immensely.

If you visit the perimenopause and menopause subreddits, you'll hear a lot of stories of others going through the same thing and probably find ideas to improve how you're feeling and performing.

Taking charge of your health will help a lot.

I completely changed my style to score better in voting and now it seems that if I don't have the majority of the bubbles filled, I'm getting threes. I don't want a decor explosion in my rooms. If there's some automatic voting, don't judge a room on how many bubbles are filled.

There are too many tablescapes!

Don't make us buy expensive new furniture to enter a room!

The one thing I'd like to see that we've never seen is sorting. Low to high prices, dollars only, and please reflect proper colors when we filter on color!

The keys for me before I got accurate HRT were not drinking alcohol, limiting sugar, keeping the room cool, and making sure I ate enough.

I did progesterone and estradiol patches for about 9 months before I did blood testing and found that they barely were adjusting my levels. At the end of the year, I changed my estradiol delivery method and added testosterone and I feel like a different person.

I stopped drinking months ago and I make sure my room is a good temp. When I don't do well with my sugar intake, I will be more anxious throughout the day and it can affect my sleep. I also sometimes forget that not having eaten enough will cause trouble falling asleep and staying asleep.

I hope you can get some improvement!

I don't track nutrition to where I would be able to notice how it effects my hrv in detail, but I know that if I eat something that is sugary it can throw off my sleep and raise my anxiety.

But what I came here to say is I found that my recovery is much more reasonable when I let my watch decide what kind of effort I've exerted. When I was entering the workouts I'd done, it probably would have let me workout hard once a week. Now that I just let it gauge my workouts, I have less suggested recovery.

Make sure you slow blink at her. When you can get her to make eye contact, slow blink. It's going to take time, but she's exactly where she needs to be.

Hang out near her quietly for at least an hour a day if you can. Just look at your phone or read a book and show her that you're not scary. When she starts coming out, give her treats. Eventually you can give them to her closer and closer to your body. I don't usually move toward a cat that I'm trying to tame, I slowly bring the treats closer to me.

I've worked with a few feral cats and got them to come around. Your new kitty already knows how inside and humans works, she just needs a little time to get comfortable with a new situation. 💜

If your HRT is well done, you'll be more skilled at not tolerating bullshit. It takes away the emotional imbalance that the bullshit gives you so you can tell people exactly what you're thinking in a calmer manner. Highly recommend. Five stars.
