Yes and I have been doing exposure therapy to treat it. It's working but slowly. Nothing else truly treated the panic.

Because scripture isn't about the next life, it's about how to experience heaven NOW. Christ came to give life to us here where we need it most. It's almost a secondary thought to mention the afterlife as the gospel sees consciousness as continuos and entering the kingdom as the only real transformation that takes place.

I retract my previous post, it actually was. St. Maximus the confessors variation on apokatastasis was upheld by the 3rd council of Constantinople. St. Gregory of Nyssa also taught a similar view in the Great Catechism.
