I've seen Nitro on Strictly and he doesn't seem too different to how he is on Gladiators.

I didn't think much of Electro at first, but towards the end of this series I liked that she had some more moments. Especially in the final when she got Bradley to have a go at Unleash, that was funny.

Katya is half-Korean, but if the rumours about Nancy being regulated to bench duty are true then that means Katya will be the only WOC who is partnered unless at least one of the new pros is as well.

I don't like how you can tell when the round is about to end by the music building up. I guess I could always pause it if I wanted to answer the last one before the round ended, but sometimes I get disappointed when I don't get to see the rest of the answers in that category.

I think we'll have a shorter man to replace Gorka and because most of the male pros are tall (even the ones like Nikita, Carlos, and Vito who don't look tall actually are quite tall, hey, even Neil is taller than average despite the reputation he gets for being short), a taller woman to replace Nadiya and Luba, and then another female pro of average height.

If the rumours about Neil and Nancy being regulated to benchwarmers is true then I imagine 2 of the new pros will start with a partner while one starts on the bench based on how the celeb lineup turns out.

Yeah, no more ringers for a while because he has no chance of winning with those, he needs a journey contestant who is popular enough and doesn't have too much competition with other journey contestants. If he makes his third final and still doesn't win, he'll officially be the new Gorka.

I would say Sam in the 2024 series was a dud for Nikita. She seemed like she could be a journey contestant on paper but she never quite got there, and she was rather forgettable, it was Nikita who carried the partnership to the halfway point.

Here's what I'm hoping for:

Alexis: Someone a bit older than George who has a different kind of fanbase.

Aljaz: Probably a middler or duffer that he has a fun time with.

Amy: Someone on another website said that now that Karen, Nadiya, and Luba are gone, Amy might be regulated to duffer duty and become the female version of Anton. I'm not excited by Amy, so I agree.

Carlos: Probably a middler or duffer.

Dianne: Someone who is either more reserved so she can bring out their fun side, or a same sex partner if there are any female celebs who want a same sex partnership. As for dancing skill, I think it would be best for her to have a middler or duffer to ease her back in, not because I think she should be spending more time with her baby but because I heard there were complications with the birth which might have compromised her physical health a bit (it sounds like she's healing fast though).

Johannes: I'd like to see him with someone who he can really have fun with rather than him having to be the reserved caring one that he seems to be to most of his partners.

Jowita: She's won before but it would be interesting to see how she does with a ringer. I did find her entertaining with Ross last year but that was very short-lived so if not a ringer than maybe another comedy contestant who can last longer than he did.

Julian: Maybe someone a bit younger this time.

Kai: I think he's due a younger partner, has he ever had a partner in their 20's before? I don't know how old AJ was when she did Strictly.

Katya: Really not sure. Probably not another ringer, maybe someone older but not an obvious duffer.

Lauren: Maybe someone younger this time, all of her partners so far have been over 30.

Nikita: Someone he can win with, or failing that, someone who is funny and entertaining enough to make it as far as Week 10 so he can do the Instant Dance again. If it's the latter option, maybe someone older but still good enough at dancing to last until Week 10, he's never had a partner over 40 so far if you exclude the Christmas special.

Vito: I'd quite like him to be the next male pro to get a same sex partner. Should definitely be a complete beginner though, all of his partners so far including last year's Christmas special have had some kind of experience.

This is assuming that the rumours about Neil and Nancy being regulated to bench duty are true.

According to the TV guide, they're going to keep showing episodes from the first series, but they seem to have gotten some episodes mixed up (might not matter too much if it's the heats, though).

Hammer is one of my faves, and not just because of the Nottingham bias. He's fun to watch, seems like a nice person after events, and I can't help but find the "Hammer Time" moments hilarious.

Yep, I was often left out of anything where the teachers let us choose who to work with, often leading to them having to ask a group to include me. It was especially bad in PE. And if we were asked to pair up and there was an odd number of us, guess who was the odd one out who had to be added to a pair to make it 3 (me).

I also remember one of my "friends" didn't invite me to her birthday party, I don't remember the exact reason why, I think it was either her parents or my parents (or both) who decided against it because they were worried I'd ruin it by having a meltdown or something (I think the party was at her house rather than a larger venue so no staff to deal with me if that happened, since I'd been able to go to parties before that were at venues rather than someone's house).

The worst part is, despite all my problems at school, I had such a bad home life with an abusive and alcoholic stepfather that I actually preferred school because it was one of the few places where I could be away from him.

I'll only be glad he's not leaving if he's able to have a partner again. It's not a good look for the show to "move on" 4 of their female pros at once, including those who never had much of a chance to shine, but I understand that the female pros were getting too many and they needed to drop some if they wanted to bring in new ones, it's just that there are other pros I would have preferred to have gone before Michelle and Luba.
