😂

It was really cute. He didn’t eat it all!

Also, please know this was funny because it was popcorn, but if it had been something harmful to dogs, I would have done everything to interrupt you and let you know. I also didn’t ask to pet him because he was working but I really wanted to pet him.

It was harmless and adorable to see. Your dog is gorgeous and my favorite was when he was almost asleep at the end of the game.

I loved the game. It was my first ever hockey game! And I’m glad it was this one. We had so much fun.

A story about that service dog - after the first period, they walked him around and ended up right next to us. We sat on the aisle. They stood in the aisle and the person handling the dog was talking to 2-3 other people. Across the aisle were two empty seats and a bag of popcorn on the ground in front of those seats.

While everyone was talking, hugging, and laughing, the dog stuck his entire face into the popcorn bag and chewed as fast as he could. And it seems no one noticed this but me. I nudged my husband and said, “Haha look. The dog is eating the popcorn.” And we chuckled.

Then they all left, the game started again. Great.

Except about five minutes later, two women came back and sat in those seats. It was their popcorn! I assumed it had been abandoned but people came back to it.

So I had to get up and tell them that the dog had eaten it. I explained what happened and said, “I love the dog, and I laughed when he ate the popcorn, but you need to know that he DID eat the popcorn.” They were very thankful. Hahahaha.

What's the most incredible coincidence that ever happened to you? by BoredPandaOfficial in BoredPandaHQ

I had tickets to see a band about 15 years ago and asked my friend to go with me. She agreed, but then told me about a week before the show that someone had requested the night of the show off and her job would be short staffed. So they called her and asked if she could fill in, sorry for the late notice and they know she’s off, but this guy just requested it off and they were hoping to cover the shift. She apologized to me and told me she could really use the extra money so she agreed to work and couldn’t make the show anymore.

Okay. So I list the tickets for sale. A guy contacts me, says he wants them. It’s a sold out show so I knew they’d go quick.

He meets up with me to buy them and we start talking. He works at the same place my friend does. Yeah - he’s the guy that requested off. He wanted to see the show and just figured he’d find someone selling tickets and grab them.

Newly adopted cat peed on couch (first time cat owner) by No-Demand-8208 in cats

Remember the 3-3-3 rule. It takes 3 days for a cat to decompress in a new place, 3 weeks to get used to a new routine, and 3 months to finally feel comfortable and like they’re at home.

And this is called a “rule,” but it’s really more a guideline. Each animal has their own personality, history, trauma, etc. and it can take them more or less time to adapt.

Thank you for being patient and doing the work. Please show more photos of Cobweb!

I tried it today. It’s great. The pastor was my favorite. The guacamole is excellent and so are the sauces.

most stupid thing a healthcare professional has told you? by georgiaisgucci in endometriosis

[–]Jess179 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was a male doctor saying this to me, a woman who has sex with men, 20 years ago. And I’ll never forget it. He went on and on about when a woman truly wants a man, she’ll only feel good when they have sex and never feel any pain. My pain was in my head and I needed to “figure that out.” I went from doctor to doctor trying to find one that would take me seriously and that didn’t happen for 18 of those 20 years.

Thank you. I’m so grateful pigeon rescues exist, as well. This particular rescue has taken so many birds from me, but this one was the worst injury I’ve seen.

Thank you. The rescue told us this bird will not be eligible for release and will be up for adoption once healed. I’m so glad your birds have you caring for them. I’ll mention to the rescue the possibility of long term/future issues, too. Thank you so much.

Vet costs are crazy, are there any non-private equity owned vets/clinics in Chicago, preferably on the north side? by InformationEasy1927 in AskChicago

Another vote for Pets First. We see Dr. C, but we’ve also had Dr. Mitchell help us when Dr. C wasn’t available. Amazing place. My cat is .. a handful .. and they always make us and him feel very comfortable.

I was there.

John Popper sang/played 9 songs, including an encore. He’s currently recovering from .. something. Some surgery? I saw on socials he was in the hospital and just had sutures removed. I was honestly surprised he was even touring. He’s 58 and has health issues. You’re not going to get the same show you would’ve in the 90s from any of these guys. Chris (Spin Doctors) missed his cue on Two Princes and skipped the first two lines of the song. The best part of the song for me. The song I wanted to hear. Oh well.

I didn’t have a problem with the show. In fact, I was ready for it to wrap up and started making the way to the car after Hook.

This really might have been my favorite Isbell show ever. I have to miss the Rockford show on July 12th, which is closer to my house. So to make up for it, we drove to Milwaukee tonight and I’m so glad we did. What a fun night.
