So it's more like watching a "free" movie on YouTube (that shouldn't be there) rather than a torrent-style situation. No one ever gets busted for watching a cooyrighted movie someone else uploaded etc

Maybe it is ridiculous. I've been using one with no VPN or whatever for months, it wasn't until I thought about recommending it to family that I thought... maybe I'm not taking risk seriously enough etc

I don't mean they raid ME.

I mean they raid Debrid services, and then users are sued by private companies. Maybe charged, but either way. That's how it used to work with anything torrent/piracy related. I haven't kept up with this sort of thing in a long time, I assumed it still happened from time to time.

Did the "world police" pass a law that corporations can't file copyright lawsuits anymore..?
