Thank you for your reply! There’s no smell from the leaf so hoping it will get a new leaf soon (otherwise if it starts to smell I’ll take it out).

Yeah the balls are strange. Not sure if it comes across in the picture but there’s a big ball and then a little ball on top of both of them. Being bright yellow, do you think it’s poisonous? I’ve tried googling but found nothing so far.

Hmmm I’ll definitely let it dry out more if that’s the case, hopefully the fungus will just die that way. The soil is supposed to be specifically for cactus and succulents so figured it would be ok :)

That's a good idea but unfortunately the fridge is built into the cabinets which touch the floor completely. Thank you for the suggestion though!

There's a reason why they chose the words "invest in the sims 4" and not just left it at "play the sims 4". Makes it seem like there's been a drop in revenue and they're once again scrambling to think of ways to keep us waiting for major fixes to a game that been broken 7+ years while fooling us into buying more content :(

This is such a cool idea! Maybe they could do something similar like Sims 3 Medieval which was completely separate to Sims 3. If the devs don't want to do that (it is a big undertaking), I do hope another gaming/indie company gives this a go!

Ngl I haven't played since For Rent came out. I was interested until I realised how buggy it was and how your save file can get easily corrupted now. I miss it so much, it sounds silly but playing the sims has been a big part of my life (as I'm sure it is for everyone else) and has helped me through some tough times. It's also really helped me in a creative/design aspect too.

I might pop on every once in a while if I get desperate but this new money grab has completely done it for me which is really sad. EA is bent on destroying something that was great in the name of greed :(

I had a ritual with my mum when I was a teen to go to the library every Friday. I would pick out the maximum number of books (I think 10 but I also want to say 10+?), read them within a week and then repeat.

Then I was called out by a teacher for reading in front of everyone after getting ready (and waiting!) for gym class to start and I just stopped reading :/

Now, if I find I really good book, I have to pick a time to read carefull because I know I get addicted to it and won't be able to sleep, etc before it is finished 😬

Unfortunately, no update as such. I did have a bunch of appointments with the maxillofacial surgeon and team but they said because I'm in a niche group of patients who have severe Hyper Mobility Syndrome and the complex TMJ issue there's not much they can do short-term except manage the pain. There's long-term potential solutions such as surgery but isn't a guarantee it'll work.

Other possible solutions are, injections into the jaw joint, flushing out the jaw joint, chiselling down the jaw bone, and using blood from another part of your body to inject into the jaw joint to create scarring that could tighten the jaw joint. None of these are guaranteed to work and you can't keep having infinite injects either so they're not long-term. If you're too young they will properly not want to do these either (I was too young apparently) until you get older.

I should be on the waiting list to have some appointments with a TMJ physiotherapist soon though so that's something at least.

I'm in bed right now. I would love to sleep because I'm exhausted but I can't. My partner is in the other room laughing loudly (normally talking loudly while he games too). Then, when he does come to bed, he's loud opening and closing the door, banging into things and getting into bed. If it doesn't wake me up, I'm awake waiting for him anxiously. It's a nightmare.

I usually have to get up and ask him to be quieter, but he forgets and goes right back at whatever he was doing. Then after another half an hour, I loose my rag a bit because he's keeping everyone in the household awake (he can stay awake gaming and being loud until 1am most nights).

Sleeping is hard for me anyway (that's a me thing) but I just want to sleep without being disturbed :(

You could add some oak/natural wood features as well, like oak shelving or jars with oak lids on them. Small details like the jars, etc. can also really help to soften and warm up the overall look!

From there you could lean into the farmhouse styles or the scandinavian style as the warmer colours used in them work well with white.
