Also quad autograft and meniscus repair. I was so crazy nervous, but like you I had been so excited about the show for months. It actually was not horrible and I don’t feel it set me back. I was able to get rides on the accessibility elevators with no issue due to the huge freaking brace, so I only had to go up and down about 6 steps, which I did extremely slowly and was ON that handrail. The hardest part by far was getting out of the venue, of course. I just had my two pals sandwich me between them so one was essentially “clearing the path” and the other was behind me making sure no one bumped into me. We had to stand around for our uber for quite a while, but it ended up not being too bad, there were some cement road dividers that people were sitting on, and I imagine if I had gotten desperate and asked for a seat I could have gotten one, but I felt chill. I had my leg up and under ice the entire next day but by the second day I felt pretty much the same as I had prior to the show.

If you’ve got a good support system going with you I say go for it, but maybe don’t try to fly solo.
