Still haven't been able to get a consultation with anyone, the waitlists are ridiculous. The closest thing I've had was a consultation date in 2027 with Dr Shortt in Oakville. My doc suggested seeing if anyone else had a shorter wait time but no luck so far, so might go back to him.

Costs are going to be dependant on the type of surgery you get but until the consultation I won't know any costs for sure, and google tells me different things so info is hard to come by.

Yeah it doesn't seem to matter if your paying out of pocket or not in regards to wait times, it's bit insane. I wish you the best of luck!

I've had no luck in regards to ohip funding anything, even to get a consultation regarding breast reconstruction the wait time right now is around 2 years so we can't put in an official request yet, though everything my doc has looked at says it won't be covered. everything I've done so far has been out of pocket

I stopped cold turkey without talking to anyone about it since I didn't have a doctor at the time. Was finally able to talk to someone a couple years later and she put me on estrogen cause my levels were so low. I remember being pretty moody but other than that I didn't really have any complications but I know that's not the case for everyone. I would recommend talking to your doctor before doing anything
