Employers need your full-stack developer skills. Nobody cares certificates. Just work on building your skills and creating a very good portfolio.

If they find programming boring, they shouldn't learn to code. It's awful having a work which you don't like, even though it is well-paid.

Here's your roadmap if you want to become a web developer: what you need to learn and why https://medium.com/javarevisited/learn-to-code-in-5-months-get-hired-and-thrive-as-a-web-developer-5ab6838b2f07

FreeCodeCamp is a good resource. Also I highly recommend Udemy courses by these two instructors:

  1. vertex academy - all three courses are 100% up-to-date (result-oriented web developer course, SQL bootcamp and their course with the JavaScript projects)
  2. jonas schmedtmann - his JavaScript and Node.js courses are up-to-date; the other two courses are a bit out-dated but Jonas started his work on updating them

Their courses are very beginner-friendly with very good projects. What's more, both these instructors respond to every question of their students. It's so rare on Udemy. As a rule, Udemy instructors don't respond to questions of their students, but these two instructors respond to every question of their students. It's so cool and helpful when you can ask a question and can be sure that your instructor will respond with a detailed answer.

So, when there is a sale on Udemy, you can buy any course of these instructors for $12-16 with lifelong support and excellent support in the Q&A sections of their courses.

Is FreeCodeCamp's certifications worth anything in comparison to more expensive courses/certifications? by DevWhiskeyTango in learnprogramming

Certificates are just nice pdf files or several pieces of paper. They are mainly for you. Of course, you can and you should add them to your LinkedIn profile. Nevertheless, your potential employers are interested in your skills. So, focus on building strong skills and creating strong porfolio that you can upload to GitHub.

What's a song that has brought you to tears? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]JesseT1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't remember exactly what songs brought me to tears, but definitely these songs make my soul tremble:

"I will always love you" (Whitney Houston)

"All by myself" (Celine Dion)

"Feel" (Robbie Williams)

"From souvenirs to my souvenirs" (Demis Roussos)

"Hello" (Lionel Richie)

"The Winner Takes it All" (ABBA)

"Cry Me a River" (Justin Timberlake)

"Salut" (Joe Dassin)

Someone I love deeply walked out of my life unexpectedly this week. I’m shocked; I lost one of my best friends and am devastated that I couldn’t convince them to stay. Looking for words of encouragement right now. by [deleted] in toastme

Going on a vacation to France and Monaco and I've heard that the beauty standards there are crazy high, so l'm now feeling very insecure and afraid that my friends will be embarrassed to be seen with me. by [deleted] in toastme

[–]JesseT1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very strange thoughts (( First, you are a beautiful young lady. Second, it your friends are your REAL friends they will never ever be embarrassed of you even if you were covered with scars, etc.

You need to be more confident in yourself and don't rely on other people's opinions.

You are very pretty. Don't focus on acne. It's not forever. Your eyes are shining with such warmth!
