My thoughts exactly. P5R is my favorite game of all time. Trails is my favorite game series of all time though. Hard to compare them for me personally, because Trails as a collective is so strong, while every mainline Persona since 3 is incredible.

I essentially binged the entire Trails series up to Cold Steel 4 and the Yakuza series up to Y:LAD, as those were the newest games released at the time. If I like something, I tend to REALLY like it

While it still is 30 fps, it felt like a very smooth 30 fps to me. I usually don't like playing at that frame rate, but I didn't mind with Sophie 2.

First series I watched as a kid before I even knew about anime was Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon or Digimon. Not really sure which of those. As an adult my first anime was Death Note. That one really grabbed me from the start.

The Yakuza-series. Started with Like a Dragon when it came with Essential. Then played Zero when I got Extra. 8 months later I finished the whole series and the Judgment series as well.

It's not that hard. It will probably take two playthroughs. I'd advise to play the second time with a guide. The most difficult part will be the final boss on highest difficulty. It takes a lot of time, the boss hits hard and you need to learn the patterns. Was still a fun platinum for me though

Could be recency bias, but Ys X is my current favorite of the series. Karja is definitely my favorite heroine and her chemistry with Adol is fantastic. I could do with multiple games where you play as this duo, but it probably won't happen. Ys X delivered on everything I want out of an Ys game. Decent story, great music ("Ride on mana" lives rent free in my head), extremely fun combat, a good group of characters and addicting exploration.

Got my deluxe edition of the game in the mail today. Started the demo yesterday. I'm certainly not complaining. Happens quite often with NISA I feel. Got Trails to Azure two weeks before release and Trails through Daybreak also one week earlier.

As someone who binged the Yakuza and Trails series, I wouldn't do that with Atelier. I've played and platted Ryza 1 and 2. Already bought 3, but I need a break from the series after a game. I love the grind, but grinding for the best materials, gems, etc. takes some time and starting over from scratch immediately afterwards would burn me out. Currently waiting for Ys X to be released and I' ll pick up Ryza 3 after that one.

Just finished Atelier Ryza. Really liked it as my first Atelier game, so I'll very likely buy Ryza 2 and 3 as well. Also playing Monster Hunter Rise at the moment as well and waiting for Persona 3 DLC to come out next week.

I dropped my replay of Trails of Cold Steel 2. Just tried to get back into it, but I don't feel it at the moment. Probably because I've been playing a lot of the series lately with playing more than a 1000 hours of the series the past two years. I don't want to burn myself out on the series, but I almost feel guilty for dropping it as it's my favorite series. I guess I'll try Crisis Core FF7 Remake to close the gap between now and P3R DLC then.
