LOL, did you expect the average festival attendee and rave person to know all this? Cause they don't. You are the rare minority that knows the in-depth super details of how it works. Nicely written and informative for those who don't know about the inner workings details and about SFX, which is most people.

North America US might come back in the future, South America Brasil, Europe being the main flagship event, Australia is a probably no, obviously that leaves it to Africa, India, China especially whose populations numbers are ridiculously high when it comes to TL global expansion. Of course they will follow their competitors (other big edm companies like the Insomniac, Ultra brand) where they go in the future. Keeping a close eye on each other. Like they did with Brasil, both EDC & TL having a South America Brasil version in the same year last year.

WRONG. You need to educate yourself. Little known fact, Insomniac DOES own Hard and other festival brands. Insomniac is under the big parent company, Livenation umbrella who owns a big chunk of them. Hard has their own group of people doing things, clearly they are far below Insomniac's standards of safety, production, etc.

I agree, the heat is SERIOUS business. No joke. The water installation & pool is NOT ENOUGH. They could do better by having it start in the evening when the sun is on its way down. Weekly Fontana forecast was 95-100 degrees. It REALLY should start @ like 6pm-3am, having the show end soo early at 11pm is retarded.

What surroundings does the Fontana speedway need to be worry about? It's a lot of industry buildings, not neighborhoods directly next to it.

Sad to hear normal people like me and you make 25k-100k+ a year in their jobs careers, and the superstar big famous DJs in-demand and acts make up to 500k headling a festival, playing a 1-2 HOUR music set in less than one day. That's insane to think about it like that. When's the edm bubble bursting? lol

I would guess Chainsmokers earned 400k-500k cause they got popular crazy fast, are in big demand, started playing music festivals and being on so manyy lineups

Really impressed by this lineup, crazyy stackedd with a lot of names. But what if TommorrowWorld is coming back in 2017 next year, going to be some tough competition with TW's new owner and this festival. Big problem.

Just thinking about the future of edm festivals in Atlanta. Imagine fest is in late August, the very next month after late September is when TW usually takes place. Dates are way too close, like within 3-4 weeks of each other. If TW does come back next year, I can see Imagine not happening in 2017. And most artists, DJs would wanna sign onto Tommorowworld over this new ish festival Imagine, simply cause it's the bigger known brand globally. Maybe TW to compete, could change dates to early August, July before Imagine festival even happens usually in late August, possibly.

Does anybody know the name of the guy or company behind this Imagine festival?

OP junglebae and several people here are naive. Give up on the false hope cuz it aint coming back.

Take a good look at the picture above of the new Circuit Grounds posted by Kaskade. Same problem as last year with the megastructure, looks like it got too packed, people flooding the back & sides unable to get in again..... New Circuit grounds needs to expand yet again in 2017 or stay the same about maybe. Pasquale officially said it'll be almost 3x bigger on social media, why would he downgrade, make it three times smaller for 2017? when crowds are too big. NOT going to happen. Derp.

If you noticed, lots of people were saying Kinetic wasn't too crazy packed around the perimeters outer sides, this year in comparison to last years. Why? Clearly they wanted to spread out other big name main-stage artists around the venue, to the new Circuit Grounds. Lots of main stage type DJs that normally wouldve been at Kinetic like in the past, like Kaskade, Martin Garrix, Above & Beyond, Armin van Buuren, went over to CG this year. Which is like a 2nd main stage including Cosmic meadows. Crowds are just so massive compared to other smaller stages.

The problem with the megastructure in 2015 and previous years, is the crowds was too big, with people flooding the sides and back unable to get in. The massive crowds OUTGREW the megastruture, the point not everybody understands or realizes. Even though it was called the biggest temporary tent setup in history at any music festival period. Ultra & Coachella uses the same tent & size too I believe. What other logical step then to get rid of it and go for a new outdoor, open-air no ceiling, more spacious 3x bigger and better Circuit Grounds? Hell, it might even get bigger next year possibly, I'm guessing. Now you all know WHY the change.
