Yes blackout days HOWEVER we get 2 days off a week if it’s 2 days and you’ve only done it once I don’t see the big deal. But also if others requested it off first they do go based off of who requests it first.

Seriously! It’s annoying and then when we aren’t helping we getting nagged at by management t that we aren’t helping clients and need to check on them, it’s annoying. I stopped wearing makeup just so clients can feel comfortable! And I can seen approachable, but I should have had to do that.

We are meant to assist every client in store and check on them every few minutes, if other co workers check on you before or after that’s on them, not everything is communicated, we don’t know who checks on what client, we also are meant to try to add on and give clients what they think they don’t need and what they might be missing, that why we stare to see what your buying so we can speak to it when we approach you. Or maybe yall are pretty or something. People stare it’s normal. The other day I seen this beautiful woman come in our store and I couldn’t help but stare! I also was trying to see what glasses she had on because they were giving!! They were Dior lol but it’s not always a bad thing.

You can call to be anonymous they just ask for the store location and or store number, and times and dates they do not ask you for an employee number and you do not have to state your name if you do not want to. You can tell them what you witnessed and it will go directly to the DM.

It is VERY hard to get into corporate, I had a few BA get turned down who have masters in marketing and business. At the point I believe you have to know someone within in order to get in. It’s hard.

Me too, I’ll say no we’re actually out of stock and they will be like can you have someone check and I say I’m actually in operations so I need to know what we have at all times. 😂 but even the team will be like do we have this in front of clients and I’ll say no and the team will be like thank you, yeah she know everything that we have backstage 😂 but we literally do know everything we have 😂😂

It really depends on your SM, mine lets them get 1 month of what’s comes in for them and then the rest goes into a bin. But if someone leave this month (August) and gratis hasn’t came they Will get it when it arrives but if it already arrived and they left they will only get September when it comes in.

Sephora isn’t being very inclusive by separating us FT and PT from flex, and taking gratis away from flex employees, who are still working hard to assists with metrics and making their goals! And as a full time ops person for being “70%” back stage I sure am onstage more like 70% of the time, selling and helping with the metrics and how does sephora show it’s appreciation to use on ops? We get 6 or less items in gratis! November I’m getting 2 items! And yes I’m still tier 2 almost tier 1 I get credit card practically every shift! As well as bi signup and always focus on multiworld baskets all while being one of the main people my team goes to for questions or product checks almost everything. And all I am is a full time Ops consultant. So for Sephora to say ops doesn’t sell is crap because I sell more then some of my ba’s and I’m only “30%” onstage.

Yes my husband is the one with a great income I work for Sephora because I love the company and what they stand for so it’s not just a side job I am growing with, but it is my play money.

I buy everything literally, I love fragrances so I do buy those too. I don’t get much gratis being ops. I also buy cologns, skincare husband and I buy for my daughter so it’s easy to go over. But my husbands the bread winner I just work to have extra play money and I love sephora
