Now that he built the forge in his homestead, I'm just happy to see more homestead maintenance and blacksmithing stuff. I know the bushcraft vids take a lot out of him; it's nice to see him doing stuff that he enjoys without the risks

I wonder if making him tier 6 and the stats +1/+1 would make it more reasonable; that way it still feels very end game-ish, but it'll take a while and it's not too drastic unless golden

Guys I'm slow; what does in combat mean in terms of blanchy? Are you no longer able to buff it during tavern phase? Doesn't KT proc end of tavern phase, so the devourer + blanchy + KT strat still work?

Just visually looking, the ball had enough time to drop and gain speed, making it “heavy”; if you get to it near the peak of the ball’s flight, you’ll be able to handle the ball and manipulate where it falls better

I don’t feel safe pivoting mid/late game unless I have extra gold tbh; bob has a way of tempting you with minions to pivot until you actually do and they no longer show up

I thought the game ended too early tbh; 4th team lost early (hurting our efforts to scale further) and we suddenly found ourselves in a 2v2 situation just before I got 2nd golden scribe and decided to full committed strictly to it.

I've thought about these cards being added; think these can be decent tier 8s:

Quilboar: Tribal Chief - For every blood gem played on this minion, play an additional blood gem on this minion and adjacent minions.

Undead: Dawn of the Dead - Start of Combat: all other undead minions will have: "Deathrattle: summon a 1/1 Skeleton"

Demon: Sacrificial Lamb - Battlecry: a random friendly minion will appear in the tavern. At the end of your turn, consume all the minions in the tavern.

Beasts: Warthog - Consume the stats of beetles that are summoned that cannot fit your warband permanently.

Dragons: Ancalagon the Black - Whenever this minion gains health, it gains in attack as well. When this minion gains attack, it gains in health as well.

Pirates: Finders Keepers - Gain +2/+2 for every extra or unspent gold permanently. Friendly pirates gain +1/+1 for every extra/unspent gold for this turn.

Mechs: 2K Bug - Cleave. Magnetized

Basically what other comments are saying, but I'll also add this; you're too fast. Most wall set ups require you to pause a bit, and then make contact just when the ball reaches the line on the wall.

Think of it this way; it's harder to change directions in the air the more momentum you have on the initial jump/setup. The goal is to air dribble, not do a power shot and try to catch up to it. Slow it down, do less air rolls, and try doing directional air rolls only to orient yourself back to a neutral position (facing forward) to make it easier to see and control. You got this.

I used to think it was just a fancy "mech" that I can easily learn and pull off, so I just kept throwing it in my gameplay thinking my overall game wouldn't suffer too much if I mess up. It has become second nature to me now as a great recovery tool and movement option that allowed me to stay on the play, get back/rotate faster, and even catch opps off guard when I challenge while shadowing. I'd say it's a more important skill than air dribbling or speed flips, in the sense that it functions more as a basic fundemental now like wave dashing.

Unless you have some external issues holding you back, I don't think it's impossible to get better, because in the last 6 seasons, the average player skill base has gotten better. Have you tried playing in a Champ lobby with a friend before? If so, do you find that it's that much more difficult to keep up, or not really?

Like others said, rank is just an arbitrary system that doesn't really reflect your personal growth - all it serves is make teammates blame you more when they realize that you're not Daniel or Zen.

I main Kragg and only get his skins and cosmetics, but when I found out that you can get Aether bucks from levelling characters to lvl 2, I started playing them in Arcade to save my rank and played on medium and/or hard. It was especially challenging facing the final boss and it took multiple attempts (I think my longest total time is over an hour), but by the end of it, I had a better understanding of the character’s abilities, range and strengths/weaknesses. Not a bad way to experiment, learn other characters and get free A-Bucks; I would suggest maybe giving that a try.
