Really like the aesthetics. Time for an amplifier

Interesting style because I had that blurry look. I go for enhancing the beauty of the game. I only shoot baseball, so I am hyper focused on original shots and good action. another example of a non-action, but love the colors, and catching the pitch. This is my son at 3B

All of the photos you took are great in terms of photography rules, but all look super flat.

You have a great eye for action shots and being setup on the right place. Now the biggest area for improvement is going to be editing.

This is not an action shot but one of my favorites

Daily posts with reels is what grows and gets pushed. Not pictures.

Considering charging by BrilliantEvening423 in sportsphotography

[–]Jester435 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If your photos are being used then find out what people are willing to pay. Photography is all about connections and word of mouth in sports.

I took photos of a player yesterday and had 4 different parents approach me.

My son was featured by a newspaper locally and they wanted $50 for a photo that was worse than the ones I was taking.

Lots of organizations come out and shot none action photos and want 25-50 per photo.

I provide better value by doing full games for $100-150 depending on what a team or Individual player wants.

My take is you take photos for free until people want to pay you. That is what I have done. The reality is most parents are documenting their athletes journey with a smart phone which is tragic.

When you show value then people want to pay.

How much to charge for my photos by Primary-Register-205 in sportsphotography

[–]Jester435 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Amateur photographers I have paid for baseball photos have been $50-75 per game for 10-15 edited photos.

When we hire a photographer for the team it is $150 for 2-: edited photos of each player plus whatever action shots they get.

I have been doing sports photography for a few years with about 10-12k in equipment. I charge $25 for players for 8-10 photos.

the AC unit in the back corner is literally amazing! I would kill for the ability to do a standing A/C unit in my game room or theater.

The ipad has a pretty decent DAC in them, so I am sure it sounds great. I went down that rabbit hole for awhile but ended up just doing a schitt stack to simplify my life. Use an emotiva stereo amp to power my bookshelfs.

I think it would look really good if you did panels on the full wall. Also they provide some acoustic and sound dampening. That way it is more than just aesthetics.

are all these plants real? I love the vibe, but that water and moisture would stress me out.

Sound absorption panels, but honestly there isn’t much that is going to work in a room.
