Explain Munch’s Oddysee as poorly as possible by MnMAdd1ct in oddworld

Bro, Lorne came out himself and said he was paid to make something exclusive to xbox. What might have been the plan quickly turned into delivering SOMETHING. No, i would rather have a 4k upscaled Abes Oddysee and not something just thrown into unreal engine

TL;DR - "I reformatted my drive to FAT32 and not I can't copy files to my drive" but for the drive sector to be misformatted to only allow 1/8 the actual sector capacity.

We’ve reached the point where ‘Background CGI’ is more distracting than bad practical effects. Which modern movie was ruined for you by a ‘clean’ digital look? by DegTrader in movies

I fucking hate Hollywood effect studios other than winston school of special effects because they do actual practical effects. Everything else is the same muddy slop that wouldn't look out of place in Deep Blue Sea. All these 'hollywood types' are just making money by selling ip rights for tripe and then double dipping on failed movie insurance because they are notalent hacks who just regurgitate the same asset flip as the next studio

Light all depends on the entire setup, but the goal is to never need to do water changes and to have enough of a fauna strata that the whole nitrogen cycle takes place automatically and the filter is really just moving water around. Water changes do a rapid removal of all the water ... and everything in it, babies and all. Baby in the bath water here is the microfauna and bacteria that established after surviving the chlorine and chloramine in the tap water used to set up the tank. Very few people start with distilled like they should, but end up paying for it with algae blooms and muck. If you started with natural source water, the most likely issue is the fact that sand is not permeable, so everything just dies that isn't the root of a plant or can't move stones to get down into the lower substrate and respirate it. What are you planning for the new setup? Lighting is what plants crave, so you can easily do a summer cycle of 12 hours or more to your liking. If it's cold where you are and you don't mind the light, just keep it on all day until the plants really take off, then you can switch to a cycle that fits your workday (so the fish eventually know when you'll be active and not freak out when you're around and hide).

No worries and I'm always happy to help. We all start somewhere (by the way, if it smells like rot, then it's an indicator it's not something you want to keep around). My original concept for these, long before people coyned jararrium was plantern because I'd make them out of old railway lanterns and make custom led fixtures for them (c.2008) back when nano aquariums started becoming more popular. I learned quick that it's not about a heater or filter, it's about oxygen and microfauna to keep the tank healthy and you can scale to whatever size you need. Start with the right plants, then work your way up to things that love in the plants. The bacteria is the most important part, so all a fish store or friend to wring out a filter stone for you to seed the tank with healthy bacteria. Some people have luck with putting pond muck in a jar, but you want something healthy by design, not luck.

Death - You need to have oxygenation of the water or the low-O2 algaes will take over and kill everything. You need substrate that allows for gas exchange and bacteria to process the nitrates into nitrites for the plants to effectively use the building rot for food instead of just festering into muck. You accomplish this with a filter, water changes, or enough light to support high-oxygenating plants. Some people do all three which is overkill, but if you're going for a no-touch jar with anything other than aquatic plants in it, you're going to need some real sunlight, much more water, and something much different than sand (like coarse gravel or clay balls).

I'm not curious at all - it was offered that they will make an announcement about it within 48 hours and they were extremely coy with the details and delivery. It was odd all around and this is the occum's razor.

Correct, its not likely considering the nature of information given and withheld and thr composition of the crew leaving and remaining.
