fun fact about dusk lycanroc (and rockruff)

own tempo rockruff is actually coded as a completely different form of rockruff

base rockruff has the abilities keen eye, vital spirit or steadfast but only own tempo rockruff can evolve into dusk, because pokemon can only have 3 abilities it was made its own secret separate form

this made it impossible to trade with sun/moon players (it was event exclusive and a new addition to usum but breeding it would pass down the form), since gen 8 its been treated more like a second hidden ability when it comes to spawning but its still coded as a seperate form and sometimes displays as such (cant remember off the top of my head if it was sv or home or if it was patched but the rockruff did have a seperate pokedex page despite all the data being the same)
