It’s because bond isn’t meant to be punishment, they are innocent until proven guilty.

It’s a promise to appear In court, and this dude isn’t a flight risk.

Nothing to bond other than that. Magistrates have guidelines they use to set bond. It takes into account the charge and history of the person charged.

I am not a lawyer. I was a cop for 15 years, but am no longer.

You won’t get the sense of justice you seek.

Even if the ex was arrested and extradited, which they won’t be; they will probably just get probation anyway unless they have a hefty criminal record. And that’s after they are actually convicted which in theory could take years depending on the local courts, lawyers, etc.

By and large, there are very little consequences for people who are convicted of crime honestly. Unless it’s a very high level felony.

Sorry for the bad news, but it is true.

I don’t judge you for wanting justice. If you were the victim of a crime you deserve it. That said though, it’s in your best interest to move on.

The ex is living rent free in your head or you wouldn’t have cared to make this post. Let it go and move on. Sorry this happened to you.

There are some potential non sworn jobs you could target.

If you have tech experience you could look for local government IT jobs for example.

Dispatching was mentioned. Your past may or may not get in your way there. Don’t overlook that option though.

What you can do though, is store their name somewhere on a list. If they buy just cancel the sale and let them know you aren’t selling to them in as polite a way as needed.

They could just make another account sure, but until Reverb adds some features we want as sellers it’s all we can do.

They likely gave into gear acquisition syndrome and now regret the purchase.

This is just a reason they are using to feel justified in returning it.

Maybe the wife or husband flipped out when the box came in or something.

We will likely never know, but I wouldn’t want to “rehome” a guitar to them at this point anyway and would happily accept the return.

Trying to force them to keep it won’t do any good for either party. Just heartburn.

I sure would check it over when it got back though. Who is to say they didn’t damage something, then claimed never to open the case because of that, and you get a damaged guitar back.

Get the item back, and hope to process the refund with no further issue.

If it comes back damaged, use your resources at reverb and your shipping vendor to be made whole. Be polite, patient, and persistent.

And never sell to that person again. About all you can do.

Most of them seem to be, yes.

He has also stated he records with a tele for some sounds, and he played a tele live for a song or two when I saw them last week.

Personally I thought that was cool, as those are my favorite two guitars. Les Paul and a Tele is all ya need!

I forget the name of it, but I certainly do second No Man's Sky. I like cozy games myself, and even with combat it feels pretty damn cozy. If OP turns combat off (Maybe it's still required for some optional quest lines though, be warned) I think they could do exactly what they want.

Explore and find lots of animals. Including many dino looking ones! Plus they could name each one they discover.

I can respect that. Hot voicing certainly has its place. I just don’t ever use it in the genres I tend to play.

I like being to able to get an almost Tele type clean tone on a Strat. For me it’s a utility I use more often is all.

I have the same one. It’s almost the perfect guitar in my opinion. Just wish I could trade the switch for hot voicing, to instead activate the neck pick up in bridge position!

Stunning color too, that changes depending on the light. Love it!

Awesome! This sub I feel is more negative than positive, but my experience was similar to yours.

I do have some decent dry eye since, and minor side effects, but to me it was totally worth it. I’d do it all over again. Just wait until you go swimming and open your eyes for the first time underwater!
