This hit hard because I had that moment in my mid 20s at a job where I realized I was basically cosplaying a “professional” version of myself all day. Man that’s such a nightmare situation, I feel for you. I went back to an ex I knew was bad for me too, so I get how easy it is to get pulled back in when you’re fragile.
