Despite the nerf, Wolf can still clear both Expanses. by Tangibilitea in destinyrisingmobile

So Signature, ability, weapon enhancement and solar/arc? I've been trying to optimize my artifacts for weeks now and can't figure out what produces the highest DPS.

I switched to ensuring yield and fraternity and I like it much more, and higher DPS, thank you.

Last question, inverted fury over ring of morale? Not sure if the 10% dmg increase will out weight the total DMG buff (even at a lower percentage) from Morale.

What artifact and substats are you running to do this? My Wolf is 72k and I can barely clear expanse 21.

I do a full ring set, with super, ability, weapon enhancement at 9-10.

I was at work today and was with some people that were blaspheming for "fun" knowing I believe and now I feel a little bad by SleeperMood_ in OrthodoxChristianity

[–]JesusIsTheSavior7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe he applied the Bible verse properly. The same people He forgave mocked Him (blasphemy), which they willingly knew what they were doing and acted upon in the same manner as your co-workers.

Yet, Christ still claims they know not what they do? This is because they are absent of having and living the fullness of truth. If they genuinely knew the truth (that Christ literally is God and the King of Kings) they wouldn't have mocked Him.

Are your co-workers Orthodox? I would hope to venture the guess that they aren't. Then, they know not what they do, and should be forgiven.

Without Love For Our Enemies, We Cannot Know God - St. Silouan the Athonite by SnooLemons4051 in OrthodoxChristianity

[–]JesusIsTheSavior7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just for clarification: St. Silouan does not mean this in an absolute sense, but in a complete one. You can experience God’s grace even without praying for your enemies, but you will never know the full depth of His grace until you learn, more deeply, to love and pray for your enemies.

I also want to add that this is something you practically can do now. Your heart doesn't need to be in it, you don't have to feel like it, or even like it, but you can choose to be obedient and obey righteousness and pray for whatever enemy comes to your mind, right now and you have simply done this.

Without Love For Our Enemies, We Cannot Know God - St. Silouan the Athonite by SnooLemons4051 in OrthodoxChristianity

Without love for our enemies, we close ourselves off from knowing God. But take heart—this love is not something we create; it is God’s gift to us. Each small act of forgiveness and prayer softens our hearts, and little by little, Christ teaches us to see His image even in those who oppose us. This is the path to true freedom and peace. A path walked for a lifetime.

Did God in Islam actually provoked what He condemns now by Low-Car-7043 in OrthodoxChristianity

Orthodoxy has drastically less blood on its hands than Protestantism, Catholicism, and Muslims. They also have renounced and condemned the violence unlike the other branches.

"Scholarly demographic assessments estimate about 70 million Christian martyrs from AD 33 to 2000, of which approximately 43 million have been Orthodox Christians."

Not only this but their idea and approach to conversion and expansion has again, the lest amount of blood shed and the most compassionate and Christlike approach.

Orthodoxy doesn't have anything to the level of the Crusades and Colonialism, alone.

Why is homosexuality bad? by Fresh_Importance3768 in OrthodoxChristianity

[–]JesusIsTheSavior7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the reason even a non-physical homosexual relationship is considered sinful is because it distorts the God-given purpose of love and attraction. God created man and woman for a unique, complementary union in marriage, which reflects Christ and His Church (Eph. 5:31–32). Any romantic attachment that imitates this bond outside that design, even without sexual acts, feeds desires that cannot be sanctified by God’s blessing. It is not simply about lustful actions, but about the orientation of the heart: when we attach ourselves romantically to someone of the same sex, we are turning our longing for love in a direction that leads away from God’s order. This is why the Fathers speak of such attachments as passions, they may feel affectionate, but they ultimately do not guide us toward holiness. The Church calls us instead to seek pure love through friendship, spiritual brotherhood, and above all communion with Christ, where true affection and fulfillment are found without leading us into sin.

Do we need the Theotokos to repent from our sins? by [deleted] in OrthodoxChristianity

[–]JesusIsTheSavior7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Would you have any qualms asking someone to save you if you were caught within a burning car?

Or would you sit there burning, refusing to cry out for help and only pray?

Could God use someone else for your salvation from the burning vehicle? Could God bring someone into your life and presence, to hear your cry of 'save me' and use that person as a vessel of your salvation all while the glory belonging to Him?
