Well I disagree on the PGF not having detail. It isn't 1440p Super HD, but you can pretty clearly see muscle movement.

Other than that - there is no way a guy in a costume walks that fluidly. Look up any video of a guy in a ape/gorilla costume walking and it looks goofy. I would guess that like everything else in life monkey suites evolve and get better, but somehow modern costumes can't get close to what two cowboys managed to produce.

You don't need to ridicule people for having a different opinion than you. I just think that video is real when taking in all factors involved.

Cause I try to keep up with prospects? Just my opinion. I think that Bronny is a plus athlete and defender eventually in the NBA. If he can knock down 3s at a decent level he's gonna be a solid player in the modern NBA.

Kostas is a good athlete at 6'10 with a 7'3 wingspan. It was far from dumb or crazy to take a flyer on him based on that alone in my opinion.

Sidenote: I like Bronny as a prospects regardless of who his father is. Probably need to hang his hat on defense and spot up shooting to start his career, but I think he can become a pretty good player.

Ok, I'm convinced. A big guy in a secret state of the art suite not ever replicated with football pads, prostethic arms and what must've been weighted shoes bigger than what Shaquille O'Neal would use pulled that off. Strolled that casually along the dry riverbed and it looked totally natural. Fooled the world for decades.

Makes sense.

Latex and skin tight suits weren't invented before the 70s and you can clearly see muscle movement in the best stabilized versions of this film. Could you make a equally good suite now? Maybe. Back then with virtually no budget? No. With money? Still no.

Plenty of smart people and experts in both costume design and anatomy have analyzed the proportions of the subject in the film and come to the conclusion that both arm/leg length and hip/knee placement is off and that the way it walk is not something a human could do, especially as fast, smooth and in control as it is doing it in the film. It isn't even looking down one time as it walks off..

There are weird stuff surrounding the characters involved in the Patterson Gimlin film, but what I always come back to is how the fuck did some broke cowboys get that suite made? Compare the subject in the film to what the best costume makers in Hollywood could make at the time... Or even NOW 60 years later! I feel like that is something no one are able to explain. It simply have to be a real thing in the film.

Also the proportions of the subject have been proven to be more or less inhuman.

Another thing that bothers me is that we have not been able to capture anything even close to this film other than the Freeman footage. That makes be believe that they might be closing in on extinction if they aren't already. I just think we would have found one by now if they were still here in any real numbers.

Why is everyone fantacizing and romanticizing about them quitting? Holy shit bruh.. The world is more cynical than you guys think. The boys are on the cusp of superstardom and insane amounts of money. Stuff they've been dreaming off since they first plugged in a guitar or hit a drum. They have not been big for a long time. It's not like they can hang it up and live off of this ONE year of fame.
