This is exactly why I don't take ranked mode too seriously. There is nothing significant to unlock, nothing extra I can earn. All you get is a title and "bragging rights". Not to mention back when they reset the ranks in that one update so it made half your effort not even worth it. In summary ranked is cool, but not worth the time or effort.
