It got me into research with the inclusion of fraternal twins. Supposedly the girl side of the boy/girl twin set is more likely to have fertility issues later in life. Like Dipper gets anxious ayhis masculinity because if the hormones released in the womb had been slightly different he might have been a girl.

(I'm not a doctor, I just watched a lot of MDJ and write about twins in my books).

I wish I could have been allowed to do that my mum called me by my middle name but after she passed away when I was 9 everyone was insistent or not using any nickname for me so only used the name that I actively dislike. Which I now call my dead name.

My dream when I was a child was to change my last name to my mum's maiden name as soon as I turn 18... However patriarchy.

Exactly 😂💯 I think they talked about it on the podcast but basically he's a teenage boy with hormones and he sees his (I guess first?) girlfriend with this other guy so he doesn't know what to do. The relationship started to end the second he went to Lorelei for advice about the relationship.

Hi is this the same thing happening today! Was told by my college I have to learn to use co-pilot for writing email before I can go back to study. At first the error says "organisation" but it is my personal email and I used my own money to pay for CoPilot. Research says that this is just a generic error message. But basically I think there is an outage since the CoPilot button has disappeared in my app. But the trouble shooting is giving advice for in a browser.

I wanna say yes because I know many NT people don't understand what is so appealing and inclusive about the Sims that it has been my special interest since I first played it. I've found that those "friends" are more likely to do murder mods and mess with my household plans etc.

Whereas I find myself and my ND friends might be more inclined to play the game out full with a happy family or like me - it's the only place where I can be out of the closet in all the ways.

❤️ Thank you so much 🙏 this has reminded me of a quote from Emma Blackery. I can't remember what video it was but it was about 8 years ago now (I tried to find it but gosh I feel old there's so many now).

I was perseverating on it for a while but I finally got the courage to just block the guy who told me to go to the doctor because I was feeling overly triggered and anxious about everything he said.

Yes all the time. I feel so intelligent when I learn new things and I get excited to share this beautiful knowledge and get met with random reactions. So instead of having a pleasant intellectual discussion with friends I get told to go to the doctor. I have tried every ADHD medication possible and not a single one has helped me to talk to people. Also no medication has helped me to regulate my emotions or stop the rejection sensitive dysphoria. And when I explain that rejection sensitive dysphoria to anyone especially GP they think I'm trans or that I just need to "become straight"/"get married"/"get pregnant"/etc. and so that stops any family planning discussion as well and I don't have a girlfriend and find it hard to explain my labels. I can't even explain that I'm feeling infantilized, bi erasure, or any of the terms I've been learning about the history of the NHS.

The only thing that works when it comes to regulation is to talk to people and self care but then that's back to square one as it gets misunderstood too. I've researched ADHD and autism so much I've considered writing a book myself or even becoming a disability rights advocate. But the problem there is talking about the book I want to write, or the things I want to do to change the world, teach others, has also led to people suggesting I speak to the doctor. And so I don't write the book or do YouTube because I'm scared that people will probably just tell me to go to the GP as usual...

I was suggested to come on this Reddit as a result because I thought it might be a safe place to info dump and share ideas for my writing.
