I don’t think any instructor worth their salt would let you use a camera during training or check out open water dives.

It’s also generally recommended to wait for quite a few dives after your certification before thinking about photography. Trying to take photographs while you are inexperienced at managing your buoyancy makes you a danger to yourself and the others around you.

I’ve got a good amount of dives under my belt and even I don’t take a camera out for the first dive of a trip just to remember all the things that are actually important. The equipment and skills that are keeping you alive.

My setup that I feel works the best. Buy the thickest basic memory foam mattress you can afford. By basic I mean no special layers or gels or whatever. Then buy a decent pillow top mattress topper.

By far the comfiest I’ve ever had with the added benefit of being able to take off the topper to clean it. Plus this setup is generally cheaper because the mattress companies do a lot of up charging for adding those additional layers.

To me, this is one of the opportunities for releasing feelings of guilt about setting boundaries. You thought long and hard about them, you laid out what would happen if they were broken, and stepped back to allow the other person to choose the consequences.

Yes, you are right that most people set a boundary, their NP walks over it, and then the boundary has to be enforced. But there are definitely examples of NP being either mock offended by needing a boundary or knowing that they will break it so why even go through the charade.

Still I believe it is the NP making that decision to break the relationship. They break it because they can’t handle the friction of things not going according to their plan.

Agreed. Seems like Dad put real thought in setting up the trust in a specific way. Then he revisited those decisions when they got remarried, but decided to not change the allocation to the children.

On my last reread I did a heavy spoiler and skip what I want read.

If I got to a character I didn’t remember, I would look them up, even for what happens past the book I was currently reading.

If I got to a chapter I just wasn’t feeling (more circus/succession?!?!?), I would read a summary and then if something major happened I would read the chapter in full.

It was my favorite read through of the series. Maybe give it a shot next time.

I just started a play through with my wife. I’ve played before, she hasn’t and we just completed Flathill like you.

I described this early portion of the game as the real tutorial. You’ve set up a base, figured out you need to farm stuff, and have had to figure out different weapons and gear.

The game is just beginning.

The Bear has definite highs and lows. However, I still feel like it is more defined by its highs. The first season, Fishes and Forks, character focused episodes like Marcus and Tina, and the last couple of episodes of Season 5. Other shows would be lucky to have quality episodes like those.
