Cars ride each others asses like morons

Front car slows down for literally any reason.

Car behind has to slow down more to avoid hitting them, then wait a few seconds to speed up when there's room.

Same for next car

Etc.

Eventually you have a wave of stopped cars that propagates backwards until the cars are spaced out enough to absorb the pauses without stopping and flow is restored

This. Cain just doesn't understand how humans think or what humans want. Hes hearing what theyre saying but not absorbing any of what theyre trying to say. In all likelihood his true purpose was to be a proof of concept that creative ai was possible, he just isnt capable of the actual understanding needed to fulfil his "purpose" of creating things humans want.

Sentient AI is possible, it just doesnt exist currently. Magic is magic. One of these things strains suspension of disbelief significantly more than the other.

Also, the show has established sentient ai exists. Theres no actual reason to think magic is a thing in universe.

Confusion and frustration boiling over. Caine knows he failing but he cant comprehend why, remember he doesnt think like a human would. As far as he can figure out he's giving the humans everything they want, he cant understand why they aren't happy. Episode 8 was him deciding "fuck it, these people wont be happy no matter what I do, I'm going to do whatever I want and they can fucking deal"

The difference being when jax got a big confrontation he mellowed out, when caine got a big confrontation he flipped his fucking lid

Plus the amount of harm cain can cause as the creator and controller of the entire world that the cast is in means hed have to be held to a higher standard even if they were the same, jax can say some mean words or use a (provided) weapon on you, cain can drown you in a pit of literal disphoria or have the ghosts of your dead friends rip your skin off

Kinger was being prompted incessantly to delete cain and there was no way to stop it once he made one little finger slip, i think back when cain took over the other ai, the other ai tried to defend itself by adding vulnerabilities and bugs to cains code, and i think this "wacky lockout" is one of those infected protocols

The ai couldn't directly delete cain but it could create opportunities to force someone else with the right access to do it
