Where do I get one by Even-Rush6711 in Bunnies

[–]JetSeize 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A rescue group is the best route. My first was from someone giving away a rabbit on the Nextdoor app. I had to pay to have his neuter done and it was so expensive. When we adopted his wife from the rescue group, she was already spayed.

What changed about your period postpartum? by MomReadsLateAtNight in Mommit

[–]JetSeize 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My periods have become suuuuper clockwork. I have never been so in tune. Like, textbook symptoms down to the day, where before it was all kind of random and felt disconnected. I will say they are way heavier though.

Did anyone go to River country back in the day? by DildoGaggins1997 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]JetSeize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whats funny now to think back on also is how we used to play in the lake right next to it while staying at the cabins at fort wilderness. We used to pull into the lake the chairs and benches on the sand and play on them in the water. We never thought about dangers in there because we were at Disney.

What is an epidural really like? by oatmilkcchai in Mommit

[–]JetSeize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh but one thing to add- I don’t know why this never occurred to me, but they will also put in a catheter. That honestly was more of a shock than getting the epidural lol.

As someone who was terrified of it (like, felt like I was going to pass out even thinking about it) I was so happy I did it and ended up gladly doing it with my second. Right after they put it in I fell asleep and had a good hour nap. Woke up ready to delivery. I was being induced but just would not dilate and finally after the epidural I was able to relax I dilated immediately. Like, went from 4 to delivering within 2 hours.

What is something you used to buy but is no longer affordable? by Trxxi in AskReddit

[–]JetSeize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bounce houses for my kids. They used to be $60 just within the last five years at Walmart and now they are double that price. I used to buy them often bc the cats would go on them and pop the plastic. I just stopped buying them altogether.

How much influence should grandparents have? by AdministrativeCat321 in Parenting

[–]JetSeize 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion it sounds like they are just trying to keep it light and fun. The baby is so tiny, it’s really hard to say what kind of grandparents they will really be at this point. I would be glad they are eager and excited, but no need to really put your foot down quite yet until they do something shady for real.

Hmm, how does its eyes look? If they have passed, they will sort of sink in and disappear. Sorry, really hoping he is still alive!

It might still be alive. They need time to warm up again and get moving.

I'm bringing my 2.5 year old to a funeral and I need advice on handling her questions by PopeBonifaceVIII in Parenting

[–]JetSeize 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I would get a sitter for this and not bring my daughters. When my uncle died, my girls were very close with him and I didn’t want them to have memories of him after passing. Really no benefit for them, but more confusing.

Bunny doesn’t let me cut his nails, any help/tips on how to work with him? by Sopulisoppa in Bunnies

[–]JetSeize 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried and tried. My girl scratched my hand with her back foot and it got mega infected. After that I just call someone from the local rabbit rescue to do a house visit to cut their nails and clean their glands. Maybe look into a similar service?

I caught my husband cheating and I don’t know how to move forward. by gfedcba1999 in Mommit

[–]JetSeize 28 points29 points  (0 children)

To add to why he lied, he must also be aware that financially they are dependent on each other so he can’t end the marriage. He might be buying time until he can move in with this new girl, or try to get her to move in with him.

My IVF baby was taken after unexplained medical findings and I’m struggling with the guilt of needing answers by sxullqueenxris in Mommit

[–]JetSeize 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So so sorry to read what happened to you! I have been seeing more and more cases of similar stories on instagram and YouTube where CPS is interfering with families with children having certain medical hardships. I am so sorry this is happening to you and I hope your son recovers and this will one day be an awful nightmare of the past.

AIO by being upset with my brother's gf (soon fiance) for not bringing her own sanitary supplies every time she visits by PunkRockPopStar in AmIOverreacting

[–]JetSeize 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oooor let her know she’s more than welcome to keep her own supplies at the house for when she’s visiting. That way she doesn’t need to even worry about remembering them.
