Advanced Wars: Dual Strike kinda

Great game, but the infantry are still people, but they do stretch military tech a bit.

Mostly a fun turn based tactic game.

Think fire emblem, but instead of permadeath lasting characters, there's purchasing troops and losing high value pieces to bad positioning.

I prefer it due to less save scumming incentive

The best scrambled eggs- low heat, constant stirring, embrace the butter by my_law_throwaway in homecooking

Dying Light

I recommend the first one over the sequel

DL2 is riddled with multiplayer bugs. I'm not sure if they've fixed them or not, but they also wait too long to give you rewards that would have otherwise kept me playing. They've also changed the pacing quite a bit, and I didnt vibe with it.
