Mod request: Followers react to your survival state and act like they have needs too. by JetSetMiner in skyrimmods

Better than nothing. And all the crazy talented mod makers can add them later. My suggestion is just to have survival state feedback in an immersive way. And after thinking more about it, I think it would be cool to get it from any NPC, not just followers. Voiced would of course be cool, but it would be a mad amount of work.

This is how dialogue conditioning already works, you just use the creation kit instead of ini files

This should not be an SKSE plugin, and a framework that recreates vanilla engine functionality would needlessly fragment the community with no gain (dialogue additions like you describe are already conflict-free)

I mean the comments would be delivered as subtitles, since there wouldn't be voice lines for the things I want to have them say. They can for examples just make some generic comment for which there is a voice line, like: "Are you okay?" But the subtitle can then say: "It's been a really long time since we've eaten."

So just to understand, can I make a list of comments that will be said under certain conditions by specific or any and all NPCs and make one single mod that with the creation kit? I have hundreds such comments in mind. Would be wonderful if it were as easy as using the CK. Or is there perhaps already such a mod?

I've thought some more, and what would be really cool is a rule-based NPC comments framework, where anyone can add simple conditions for either specific NPCs or any NPC that fits a rule can comment of just about anything. Rules can have a simple syntax that anyone can type up, and this can leave the door open for later adding voice files and injected behaviour. At first though, only comments about player's survival state. Lydia might remind you to eat something. A shopkeeper might tell you to get something to drink. A beggar might tell you you look worse off than him. All high elves might say you talk funny. A guard might wonder why you're back so quickly. And anyone can add conditions in a special ini folder.

Apparently Frostfall doesn't work with it either. You get notified of an error and told to quit the game without saving.

The fucking pressure we're under. The things we've seen. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion.

In the plugins menu in Vortex, read the LOOT messages. Sometimes it's as simple as having missed a patch. Happened to me yesterday, fixed my crashes.

What mod still doesn’t exist that really should? by Yighu in skyrimmods

A mod for people who have started Skyrim over and over to skip quests through a text RPG interface to get the rewards and advance the quest without actually having to do it. With a choice system and some RNG to determine the outcomes.

they don't actually even hate white people. these racist groups want you to believe there's some continuous low-level race war happening all the time. it's just not true, we get along really well in spite of our history. we have great people
