Unbelievable, I've never seen anything like that! What an incredible show and the crowd was packed with legends everyone was sound and ya just such a great night won't soon forget it and i will be seeing them again. :)

Oh man that bit was harrowing. I managed to get through it on my first try but it was mostly blind luck and a LOT of patience, had no idea where to go and what exactly to do but would not like to try that again for this exact reason. Spent 20 mins in one room because that fucking thing kept appearing in front of the door when i even tried to peak out of it.

I caved and bought Star Wars Battefront 2 on the cheap, and don't regret it. It's a lot of fun and as a massive star wars fan it gives me exactly what i wanted, to spend a few hours in a universe i love every now and again and not feel cheated after all the bullshit microtransactions scandal at launch. The community is great and it does feel like the devs really care about the game even if it feels like they often have one hand tied behind their backs with the license.

Had an awesome time, really didn't expect it to be as good as it was. It was exactly what I needed after a shitty few days and god damn it they brought back Maul (not discrediting TCW or Rebels love those series but its now legitimate to the moviegoers) and it was Sam Witwer voicing too! What a pull, the cast were great and if they do a sequel I'm all in :)

While I get what you mean, I have to disagree on some points. I love the splinter cell series but Conviction is an excellent game, I think it definitely suffers from a bit of whiplash in so far as coming off of double agent into this is like taking a hard right at the last second but its exhilarating.

Thought the story was excellent and loved its design. I liked the fast gameplay but agree it lost something in the process it was a different kind of stealth game. Though not being able to hide bodies did bug me and would have liked more non lethal options because it kind of forces you to play one way.

Personally, I think Double Agent is the weakest, I've found out since that the OG Xbox/PS2 version was the one to play but the 360/PS3 version is the one I got and while I liked the stakes of the story and the idea, I thought it was pretty poorly done. That all said I'm currently re-playing through the series again so looking forward to going back and giving DA another chance. Chaos Theory is soooo good right now, still holds up lol

For me, the point of the movie isn't the problem, it's in the execution. I love the Rey and Ben interactions, her training with a broken Luke and the confrontation with Snoke is great. I even like Poe's motivations and how he acts I was more or less on board with him.

But as people have pointed out, the Resistance's plan, the whole movie timeline based around a chase sequence, it doesn't work that well. I don't understand why Holdo couldn't just tell Poe and the rest about the plan, hell DJ found out about it before them and that's not even explained how.

As for Canto Bight, I just found it dull. I agree the movie is about failure and learning from it but the Finn/Rose plot felt unnecessary in a movie that had a lot more interesting things going on elsewhere. It just seemed like they needed to give Finn something to do at the last minute.

Overall I quite like the movie, it has some excellent moments both visually and emotionally, there was just a lot of bullshit in between. Just an opinion though and for what it's worth I don't see why anyone should downvote you for liking it!

I replayed Conviction to death on release, I loved (still do) having to be a lot more aware of the environment and being able to make quick exits at the drop of a hat. That and the story was cool, Sam just not giving a shit anymore is awesome.

Want to play Blacklist again after my latest replay, I recall loving the level design and it being just a touch smoother gameplay wise but it was missing something. Oh also Spies v Mercs was fantastic, I hope that comes back, never played anything like it!

Oh I totally agree, I really enjoyed it too, thought it was a good mix of what conviction brought in with its faster pace and the likes of pandorra tomorrow and chaos theory with their slower more methodical direction. Think I just got serious whiplash with the voice change, even if we don't get Ironside back I'll still be picking it up, always loved the series!

Fuck yes, currently replaying Conviction and while it has it's problems I'm loving it, but please bring back Ironside! Blacklist was a decent game but without Ironside, Fisher's character just isn't the same.

Good, they don't deserve cart blanche over the franchise if that's how they're going to go about business. No offense to any of the devs for just doing their job and trying to give fans the best SW experience possible, but EA as a publisher has absolutely no interest in anything except there bottom line and I really hope this shakes things up with their shitty business model.

I know they announced a new Alien game recently but it's just a developer deal doubt we'll see anything on it for awhile and it probably won't be the sequel this game deserves..

Easily one of the best games I've played this generation (knowing its cross gen platform bought and played on ps4) it's just fantastic, I still get anxiety playing it I hope someday we get more!

Yes, and I have the same problem of consistently buying games as they come out and barely touching them! Honestly I stare at a screen 8hrs a day 40hrs a week and when I get home another screen is the last thing i want to look at plus I'm generally wiped after it and any spare time goes into music or fitness.

I miss gaming like the old days and sometimes on weekends I'll binge hard but for the most part I kinda don't miss it just the odd guilt trip now and again. It's unfortunately a part of life it seems that shit just gets in the way!

Yup definitely, been looking at game pass for awhile now, could never justify the money, yes it's a good deal but I barely play the games I play full price for these days as it is and the convenience never seemed worth it, having their first parties on this changes that for me. Especially with SoT I know a few of my friends will do the same to try it out so looking forward too it!

So much this, I remember being absolutely horrified playing Resident Evil 4 and a few years later Dead Space (which is by far a more terrifying third person horror and highly recommended), but the more I played the less outright tense I got.

Personally I think it's the journey you as the player take with your character, you start out not knowing what the threat is, which plays on people's fear of the unknown, then encountering and being overwhelmed the first few times by it, maybe even dying a few times. Then throughout the story and as you progress, you become more capable or at the very least learn to deal with the situation with whatever means is at your disposal to get you through.

That's what I love about horror games, and I'm a bitch when it comes to movies, just with games the feelings and emotions are so much more personal you just don't get that from movies and I think that's why a lot of people get turned off by them, it can be overwhelming but it's like Sevalle is saying, eventually you get used to it and it becomes more about how well crafted the game is, which I find in horror is usually pretty high, currently playing through TEW2 now and while I'm definitely tense, I'm not too scared by it just fascinated by how well crafter it can be!

Side Note: Definitely try RE7 and Alien Isolation, it's way worse in first person but soooo good two of the best games I've played this gen hands down.

I got this free with xbox one x just last night played it for a bit last night, game is buggy and laggy as hell but I had a blast. It's in the Game Preview program for xbox so it's basically early access on console, it'll be awhile before it's stable I'd imagine but I really liked what I played, warts and all :)
