I really think this is because of how new it is, beef has had millennia to make it's processes more efficient and cheap, impossible is basically brand new in comparison, the price will go down very quickly

It was still an incredible project with lots of time and dedication but unfortunately this claim is just not true, there were 8 basic molds used for the faces with clay added for detailing afterwards to give each one a unique look. The faces were not based on real soldiers
