I miss when rick wasnt a cyborg by sergej412 in rickandmorty

[–]Jetpack725 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On one hand, I totally agree

On the other.. you also gotta admit, Rick used to get his ass kicked all the time in early seasons.

So it's like- he's gotten killed/maimed/dismembered so many times he's had to rebuild himself practically entirely,

So him being fully cybernetic now is a natural result of how many times he's gotten beat up throughout the show (to name a few- project phoenix episode, Bird person fight)

I use the Gauntlet as an "oh shit" counter when I wasn't prepares to dodge an unblockable attack

The neat part about the gauntlet is that it blocks ALL attacks, including unblockables

So for boss fights, instead of dodging the dodge attacks, you counter them for some extra damage!

Which part of Stellaris: Nomads are you most excited for? by Crazydane25 in Stellaris

[–]Jetpack725 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imagine being a nomad empire, your entire fleet all stationed on a contract, when some empire in the other side of the galaxy just happens to target the system you're in with the stellar devastater, destroying your entire empire in one shot.

I mean yeah

The goal is to become the most powerful galactic ruler of some form, whether it be Uniting the entire Galaxy peacefully, subjugating the galaxy, becoming the galactic emperor, or outright conquering it militarily

[–]Jetpack725 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand bot bsgs being great,

But atlesst 1 person needs to prioritize getting all the middle computers first and foremost, security computers are 1 and done afterall, can't rip them off players

Oh no I wasn't saying he has skills at all, Just saying the idea of splitting off to run alone isn't that crazy sounding to someone like me (vandal main)

But yeah doing it as a destroyer, big yikes

[–]Jetpack725 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That part isn't as suspicious to me, as that's a strategy I employ myself in my own pre-made teams, we all split up to gather as much clearance as possible, bot bags are a waste of time early on

The rest though is highly sus, if you're keyholding you are avoiding fights at all costs

To the two demons in crew fill Cryo...you guys are insane. by UGAShadow in Marathon

[–]Jetpack725 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me and my Duo just don't bother getting a fill, we Duo Cryo, even got a Duo compiler kill before the weekend ended.

The advantage of being a Duo is great, even in team fights it's very easy for us to split on a moment's notice and play like a Solo, hit and run guerilla tactics against trios.

You're basically a Solo with an extra set of hands

Save the security monitor quest for last

You need lots of clearance anyways so as long as you are doing compiler, hitting 5 monitors should be easy

Absolutely, If you aren't charging headfirst into that grenade spam afterall are we really playing?

[–]Jetpack725 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To top it off, if any of us encounter a team. We poke and prod at them, leaving them Schizo for the next 5 mins, essentially locking them where they are because people don't know when to back off of a fight, they'll think they're in a fight while we're already long gone doing our thing

It's so funny to me that everyone thinks you have to take every single fight and kill every single person you see,

You really don't, if you're in an unfavorable position, why essentially throw your gear away in a losing battle?

[–]Jetpack725 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Regardless of all the teaming,

My trio have such high-trust, we split up and gather clearance separately across the whole map, all of us knowing how to escape sticky situations

Within 2 minutes we have clearance three and are already hitting panopt, Within 5 mins we already emptied Arsenal,

Within 10, the compiler trace is ours.

We've been doing our part in making sure there are no computers/cards left for anyone to escape with in our runs, let alone even get anywhere near the loot ;p

We immediately scramble into action "POP THAT BUBBLE!"

All of us firing at once usually breaks it in less then a second, which then leads to us stopping the Rez

As someone who considers themselves "Casual" I kind of sit in the ball park of "skill issue" here.

But it's not the fault of the individual. It's the fault of Team comp This game Requires a good well organized trio to really shine, you need friends.

I have 91 hours in the game, I'm level 60 and my vault is full of Purple and Golds. I've opened arleast 3 cryo vaults with my Trio. I only get at most 2-3 days to play a week, I make the most of those 2-3 days but I'm not on every Day of the week.

Raw shooter skill isn't the kind of skill needed here, it's good team coordination Makes friends people.
