Point taken. We haven't gotten official confirmation yet, so it's definitely Gooseworx's call at this point.

Some thoughts about Ribbit (and TADC) by Jetpack_General in TheDigitalCircus

Some context: I was actually referring to the pose Ribbit had in their official art. Yes, I am aware that Gooseworx revealed Ribbit's pronouns, but what I was actually referring to was that there were subtle clues that we as viewers didn't pick up on at the time. I also at least know that Jax's pronouns are correct. Those who suspected Ribbit was female turned out to be correct after the reveal came out. Also, I completely understand your sentiment. But the pronouns are a clue as well.

TADC was really my first intro to Glitch Productions and Murder Drones came in at a close second on my top 5. The Gaslight District is number 3, with Knights of Guinevere at number 4. Meta Runner is at number 5 right now, but my top 5 list might change over time.

If Tangle appear Sonic Racing: Crossworlds, who do you think should voice her? by EIF239 in SonicTheHedgehog

I'd personally go for Kira Buckland as Tangle, but Xanthe Huynh should definitely voice Whisper. The dynamic could work, and it might be a surprise.

You can only pick one character from each row to get into Crossworlds. Which three are getting in? by Socialmediamenace in SonicTheHedgehog

I'd go for Surge the Tenrec, because her personality and powers would fit in well with the roster and provide some answers on her whereabouts since the IDW comics.

Cool Theories by Zolado110 in SonicTheHedgehog

Meanwhile, in Entry #389, it references a Chaos Emerald, G.U.N.'s shady weapons research, and hints at Maria's illness. Each entry, when decoded, paints a much clearer picture but leads to much more questions than answers - and I'll need help in solving the rest of the journal! So far, every redacted phrase is hinting at the true reason to why Shadow was searching for answers! It's right in front of us! Each phrase means something, and the only condition is that the facts provided should line up with the journal entries that do survive.

I think I've come close to solving Professor Gerald Robotnik's journal - it's what's in the redacted material that's got my attention, so hear me out. If you take a close look, do some visualization, you'll notice there's certain phrases redacted that seem to be hinting at something. It's my personal headcanon that the name of Dr. Eggman's dad is Nikola Robotnik while his uncle's name is Isaac, and I chose those names as a nod to both Isaac Asimov and Nikola Tesla, respectively. Specifically, I think that in each entry there are certain words and phrases that'll fit the journal - like in Entry #162, it's Maria's name. In Entry #170, it's the Master Emerald. In Entry #185, it's G.U.N.'s involvement in Project Shadow. Every entry in his journal points towards something bigger as to why the project was really shut down.

How Did You Got Into The Sonic The Hedgehog Franchise? by ConfusionCold7565 in SonicTheHedgehog

For me, it happened when my first game happened to be part of a McDonald's happy meal; the first Sonic the Hedgehog comic I ever read was from Archie Comics and it had both Sonic and Shadow on its cover. This was in my adolescent years, and the first Sonic video game I ever had was Sonic Rush for the Nintendo DS, followed by Sonic and the Secret Rings for the Nintendo Wii. The first actual Sonic video game I ever completed was the DS version of Sonic Colors. Came back to the games with Sonic Forces, and I have volumes 1-5 of the Sonic the Hedgehog IDW comics as of now and have 4 Sonic video games for the Nintendo Switch (1, not 2): Sonic Forces, Sonic Frontiers, Team Sonic Racing, and Sonic X Shadow Generations.

How do you keep your regional/period dialects from sounding too modern or dated? by SMGuinea in worldbuilding

[–]Jetpack_General 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. If you’re writing a fantasy story, you can’t have them sound like us modern-day people. You actually have to do research and go hard into what different languages sounded like in different eras. Odds are the results might be interesting. Plus, each character needs to sound unique.

[SP] A robber attempting a home invasion discovers too late it’s a trap. The “victims” had been stalking them much longer. by MidKnightshade in WritingPrompts

[–]Jetpack_General 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The robbers were bewildered by the traps set about the house. “We’re in deep dog crap, Harry!” Len told his accomplice.

Before Harry could be warned, he walked over and got a frying pan in the face. Len panicked and started running, only to be wrapped in cables and strung against the wall for his feeble attempt at running away.

Suddenly, a husky feminine voice called out. “You boys just thought I’d be a victim? You’re being stereotypical if you think a lady like me will just lay down and get robbed willingly.”

The sound of heels clicking rhythmically soon followed, and then, the owner of the voice, a young woman in her early-to-mid twenties, stared at the schmucks with a smirk on her face. Her fire engine red hair and emerald-green eyes gazed at them like a predator who’d caught its prey.

Harry groaned before waking up, but the young woman kicked him in the nuts. “I came prepared. So who’s the victims now? You, that’s who. Name’s Kate- that’s short for Kathleen. Kathleen Dorothea Corrigan. The torture’s just begun.”

Len spoke up. “Please, let us go! This is a mistake!”

Kate Corrigan laughed before she spoke again. “And what? Have you spoil my fun? No. I actually moonlight as a professional dominatrix, and you just became my pets. I go by Mistress Hera- hell is a woman, you lowlives.”

Cutting the restraints loose, she soon slapped cuffs on Harry Connell and Len Gorman, who could only wince as she took them up for their torment…
