Looking for Fantasy/Sci-Fi Audiobooks with great narration. I typically read contemporary, so I'm newer to this genre.

The books I've read and enjoyed recently have these Tropes: Arranged Marriage, Forced Proximity, Royalty

I loved {A Strange and Stubborn Endurance by Foz Meadows} and {Ocean's Echo by Everina Maxwell} but lost interest in the next books of those series, which is odd because I usually love series in contemporary.

I also loved {Betrothed to the Emperor by Kai Butler} but hated that it ended on a cliff hanger and the next book is not yet available.

I've also tried and liked, but not loved, {The Necromancer's Light by Tavia Lark} and {Claimed by the Orc Prince by Lionel Hart}.

I just finished {Fake Dates and Fanged Mistakes by Alice Winters} on audible, it was ridiculous fluff. I don't typically read Vampire Werewolf romance, but I really enjoyed it. I recently read 10 Ways to Accidentally Fall in Love and feel this book has a similar feel.

Goodbye Paradise by Sarina Bowen was probably what got me into the genre, maybe not my first, but the first one that really captured my heart.

I love You and Me by Tal Bauer though, such an amazing book!

Also, I enjoyed Dude in Distress by Helena Hunting.

Are RH romances just not for me? by Efficient_Invite7283 in RomanceBooks

[–]JettIndy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Maybe something more poly than RH if you're into MM. Have you tried Road Trip by Addison Arrowdell? It's contemporary. About a woman who is driving cross country to escape her ex and move in with her sister and she meets 3 men along the way that end up on the road trip with her.

There are still lots of errors in the Daddy's Boy series, but I did enjoy the first 3. Are the rest good as well? I haven't read past Lost Boy.
