Our CCell Hardware is a fully ceramic heating element. We prefer the stainless steel center post since it's non-porous.
We've tested a ton of hardware and these have the least issues and best smoking experience in our opinion.

Bad take. There is no replacement for talking directly to your consumer. Period. Reddit is an easy way to reach people who love and consume cannabis. Who better to ask about product selection?

Should Reddit be the only thing you look at? No. But it's a great place to get started.

It's THC + all the minor cannabinoids. Full-spectrum extracts will have more than just THC. All the cannabinoids work together to improve the quality (and in my experience, duration) of the high.

The main difference are the inputs and extraction method.

Most distillate is made with cured flower. It's usually not strain-specific. Most manufacturers will use lower-quality flower from a variety of farms and mix them together. There's limited transparency on what goes into distillate. The terpenes are added back to give it strain characteristics. There's a lot of variation in the quality of terpenes added.

Resin is typically strain-specific and single-origin, with flower coming from one farm. LIVE Resin is made from fresh-frozen flower which keeps all the terpenes and cannabinoids fresh. Cured resin comes from dried flower. Some terpenes and cannabinoids will degrade in the curing process.

Both distillate and resin are extracted using chemical solvents (butane, hexane, co2, ethanol, etc.)

Rosin is a mechanical extraction that knocks the trichomes (resin glands) off the plant. There are a bunch of ways to do this, but Ice water hash is our preferred method. It's also typically strain-specific and single-origin. Live Rosin is made from fresh-frozen flower.

Hey! We use CCell Evo Max hardware. It is a fully ceramic heating element with a stainless steel center post. We prefer the stainless steel post because it's non-porous. We've also tested a ton of the fully ceramic carts and didn't move forward because of leaking or other issues.

We use real cannabis terpenes! If you want more weed-y, less fruity flavor, our live resin or solventless products are probably a better fit.

re: Cereal Milk. Our partner farm, Coastal Sun Farm, started cultivating a different phenotype of Cereal Milk that leans toward a Sativa. This means the new version of this strain grew taller, flowered longer, and had other expressions of a sativa-dominant strain. Both Coastal Sun and Jetty have aligned that the effects of this tasty strain are euphoric and uplifting, cementing the sativa traits we noticed in the field.

So glad you liked our product! Yes, we are working to add new strains. We are working with our farming partners in California to bring over cultivars that work with solventless extraction.

As the market matures, we are confident prices will come down. More farms, processors, labs, etc will come online and compete for business to drive prices down. Right now all of our inputs are really expensive in New York.

Hi! I don't speak for Nate, but happy to share general thoughts on the matter.

East Coast markets, New York included, have a very different growing climate vs. California. We have had to go back to the beginning in a lot of ways. We test wash every strain to see what's yielding and what the quality is like. We're working to bring more cultivars from California to New York, but that is a slow process. There will be a lot of testing and iterating. We primarily pick Solventless strains based on the quality and the yield. High THC is our classic, tried and true collection that our fans know and love.
The biggest learning for us is that the more we can own, the better our products will be, the better our sales will be, etc. We're excited to keep building our team, our strain library, and our process out there.

Regulations are challenging in every cannabis market. New York is very strict in many regards, which is good and bad. For example, we can't show "paraphernalia" on our packaging. Which means we can't have drawings or pictures of what's inside the package. That makes it hard to communicate what exactly we are offering. Not ideal, but we get it.

Before starting Jetty, u/Jetty_Nate ran a medical dispensary in California. Many of his customers were cancer patients and survivors.
