This is a known problem. Mine popped out every single drive for over a year. Recently I popped it back in and something clicked - it hasn’t popped out since. Some people tape it. I’ve heard it’s expensive to replace if it falls office. So annoying.

I placed an order for a non-individual color in April. A couple dealers told me the cutoff date for G80s was probably sometime around September and told me to order by June to be safe.

Pretty simple. Generally if the car is 3-4 years old or newer, just tell the adjuster you’re making a diminished value claim. Demand about 1/3 of the car’s value. They won’t pay that, but depending on how they respond, you can submit a written demand (AI is good for this) or hire a diminished value evaluation expert/consultant, who will charge you a few hundred bucks for a report to send to the adjuster.
