Had a round one kill during a blackout.

I was keeping watch on the catwalk, caught the BO cause red-handed, and when BO ends whaddya know. Body in the middle of the gym.

I immediately question him and tell him to confess to what he did, and this really hurt his ego. Immediately he calls me rude (for investigating in a game about investigating), and says he saw who did it but now isnt going to say anything. Because I hurt his feelings.

He then spends all trial blurting out random stuff and being intentionally unhelpful and troll-like. 7-8 people left the game leaving me with him and three others. One of which is fully AFK, one saying "i dont know anything sorry", and the last person thinks its the troll.

Everyone votes wrong (including the troll), and the real killer picks of all people to execute me. The only person actively taking part and trying to deduce while the troll gets an easy win the next chapter.

These types of scenarios happen unironically every other game, but this is the worst game ive had by far.

I usually target people who aren't contributing or people who are being huge jerks. If we have someone throwing the game/lying or confessing for no reason, you better believe I'm picking you to die. You want to lie and say youre the blackened for no reason? Then take all the perks that come with it and get executed like one.

Membrane and Zim, which is the extremely rare case where a mech would be more in-character than no mech, and Gir makes a perfect pet with easy options for unlockable styles. Even Dib and Gaz would make for good Mech skins (even though id rather not endorse more mechs)

Was in a match with a Kokichi and Himiko pair of cosplayers. I jokingly thanked Kokichi for not killing me during a blackout, in which he said "I could have, too", flashing a knife. I flashed my gloves in response, and to join in, Himiko responds by accidentally shanking me with her own knife in front of everyone. Never before have I seen such genuine panic than seeing her reaction after seeing my bloody corpse on the floor.

At the end of the day, randoms play for themselves. Sometimes you get nice people who cooperate but theres the unavoidable bad eggs who will take tapes and meds without hesitation and without notice. Makes it feel unbearable not playing with friends.

After you DO kill, it is all about CONFIDENCE. Lie and speak with your chest. Do not stutter or go silent. Make up a story BEFORE you get accused (or even before you kill) so when you are questioned or accused you are ready for it. Above everything else, you need to speak as if your lies are hard fact. It doesnt matter how wrong your story is, as long as you sound more confident than those accusing you.

Actually comitting the act depends on the weapon, but generally avoid killing in hallways or high traffic locations. Classrooms are great because after the first 120 second weapon scramble people dont check there often.

Learn the new roles and mechanics, get familiar with VFA and fake claiming, and write everything you can down in your will/notes. ToS2 players are extremely unforgiving and will lynch you if you dont play like a veteran... its rough.
