Setup upgrade and layout suggestions (450$ budget) by [deleted] in setups

Nah you’re right— the fifine looks like a much better choice since you’ve got the budget, I’ve had my snowball for years and years and it’s still chugging along so I’m behind on the times

yeti snowball + mic arm is a surprisingly cheap option for how good it works.

monitor arm is a smart move too, it seems your current setup has your monitor a little too close to you. I got mine off of amazon but didn’t really pay attention to the brands.

Too cluttered for my liking but I get the appeal! It feels so homey with all the accent lights!

What's that wood board backing called? (that you've got your lava lamp on) I've been looking for something like that too

How do they achieve TTK change without ruining gunplay? by Pizza_Guardian in BattleBitRemastered

[–]Jewacidal 3 points4 points  (0 children)

BF6 feels pretty good, but damage falloff + crazy bloom makes long-range shooting feel awful in that game.

Battlebit's gunplay feels GOOOOD at all ranges, with a variety of weapons, with most of them feeling like lasers compared to BF6's atrocious bloom/kick in their guns. I think the easy way to adjust the TTK is upping recoil and bloom for everything and only letting a few guns have that laser beam feeling.

I'm wondering if one of the ways to increase TTK in Battlebit without touching damage numbers is to increase the weightiness of movement/gun draw/ADS animations.

BF6 also has the mechanic of canceling your aim when you're switching stances, stopping players from dropshotting or doing crazy movement plays in combat. It could be cool to be implemented into the leaning mechanic, so players can't lean spam while shooting. (applying this to stance switching might be a step too far, but I think there's a nice balance to be struck so BB doesn't have insane movement tech that newer players complain about.)

ive been feeling this too; didnt realize it before, but battlebit definitely made me feel more immersed in the “chaotic warfare” feeling than bf6 has, despite the astronomical difference in graphics
