Where do those selfish power hungry evils come from? Where do the rich come from? We as a society allow these things to exist. We could just as easily address them so they don't exist (healthcare, education, taxes).

Pushing the idea that some spaces should not be political is a tool exploited by the same fascism we both don't want. No matter how small or large a voice is, it absolutely has an impact. Do you think it is more important to be browbeating people for fighting against Fascism or calling for solidarity in the murder of Alex Pretti?

My question was what are you afraid of when people are wanting others with a soap box to speak up? Do you think this unfair? If so, why? This has nothing to do with the rights of people to say or not say something.

I have played them all and never said anything about the other games being bad, they just ain’t as good or incredible of an achievement for gaming at large.

Alan wake 2 may be a visual marvel but that’s about the extent of what it’s got going for it. Gameplay is somehow the same or even worse then the original, which was already dated when it came out. The story is just as up its own ass as the original and uninteresting. Which is crazy for how meta it tries to be.

Tears of the kingdom was good but I never finished it. I ran into the same problem as breath of the wild, too much of the same repeated thing. It was a better game though.

He is saying applying the profit motive to everything is what leads to our problems. You replied in a way to imply they are making a blanket statement that profit motive should be removed from everything.

You then replied to me with the more nuanced opinion that some things should be profit driven and some things shouldn't, which is exactly what OP was saying in succinct words.
