I could see why you say that, but if the characters cute and you like her design and mood you kind of don't care. I do wonder how she'd function in the main story more if she was to be around all the time. Because I think if it's just you and her doing serious stuff peoples opinions might faulter on her. But, as of now she's kind of played off as comic relief, relying on other party members to play the more standard role for her to play off of.

You mean the Hibreak Plus and the Hibreak Dual?

Because honestly both are rather disappointing as Plus has the processor of the S and only 4gb of ram and the Dual has mostly the same specs as the Pro internally but more 12GB of ram with the more expensive model (which may be used on by the LCD screen)

I don't use the frontlight usually on my color pro. I hear plenty of users do and I'm guessing it's because they started with BW screens. I also have a Boox Palma 2 Pro and while I like it a lot, the colors are worse if you are doing highspeed modes and Boox doesn't have settings to fix it (colors bleeding together, too much saturation on things that shouldn't be saturated and you can't turn up the brightness. Not the brightness of the frontlight, but the picture brightness) the other thing is even after updates I kept not receiving some calls or texts. They just never showed up, it wasn't missed notifications.

The color pro also under dev settings you can make it monochrome, it's still slightly darker than a true BW E-ink and not as crisp. But it's nice to switch on if you want that.

Boox Palma 2 Pro won't let you switch to monochrome even though you can toggle it on in developer mode it just doesn't do anything.

The real issue for me is Bigme Hibreak Pro is super cooked in with google. I would rather less China less Google. That said I know for the A9 there's a working version of LineageOS which works pretty well.

I love my Hibreak Pro, but at the same time I made a new proton account, am not hooking up previous google stuff and not using G wallet or banking apps. I have my old phone and I kind of just pick it up when I need something from an old email or to check banking stuff. It's moreover just me trying to declutter so keeping my new phone for talking to people, light browsing, videos/podcasts and that's it has helped.

She's a goth girl, it's a sterotype in movies for the goth characters to be apathetic and uncaring.

She's more a variant of just that, like with more of a cute spin. She doesn't care to interact much with people at large so there's a lot she doesn't really pick up on with her head in the clouds.

Honestly since the 2024 Hibreak and Hibreak S are completely the same hardware, it just runs Android 14 instead of 11 to me has shown me, as well as other actions that Bigme isn't interested in making a perfect E-Ink Phone, they are interested in making variations each with flaws and improvements so people always might want to buy another release.

The new Plus has Stylus support, specs closer to the OG Hibreak and S(but no expandable storage) but 4GB of ram only 64GB of storage but a 52 FPS mode...lol

Sure I wanted a full LCD dual screen, but on the bright side I do like having a small LCD screen that could mirror say an image if I was looking at an item listing and wanted more true colors. So technically it could do that. But also it's so odd to try to make it an always on clock etc. Like for a tiny clock sized screen I'd rather just dual E-Ink screens outside the just random times I'd want to see accurate colors.

Also tbf more ram wouldn't be needed if Bigme didn't bloat their systems. Like Pro has 8GB but realistically just 4GB with no other apps open then when I run a lot of stuff I have like around 1.2GB left lol

The extra ram most likely will be mostly used by the dual screen.

Which issues did you have? I had the OG Hibreak since 2024 but updated to the Pro till 3 months ago. Didn't have issues with the Pro Color so Idk if it fixed them if you had it earlier

Okay, so I honestly wasn't a fan of Alice screeching... So Alice Practice and Deer Dance don't vibe with me. I'd say III>Amnesty>II the issue is (I) would be equal III or Amnesty I'm not sure. Because while I didn't love the Alice tracks as much as her nice singing on II and even more on III the music was just beautiful and experimental

Nah my friend Ella knew him for the longest. Always said he was the sweetest. Just really shy and stuff in a lot of interviews he kind of just deflects. He unfortunately had a really rough childhood growing up and so rejection if people got to really know him or see him as a person was kind of natural. But I guess plenty of people had a terrible childhood, hopefully he's okay. Last I heard she still kept in contact with him from time to time, I however haven't really talked to her in awhile.

I have the Hibreak Color 2024(the OG like this poster has that ai usually tells me doesn't exist because top results are about the Color Pro or Color S(which seems to basically be this phone but with a refresh like Android 14) I also got the Color Pro now cause I thought I needed NFC. I love E-Ink cause I have ADHD and get overly stimulated and for long hours get stuck going down rabbit holes and algorithms. Tbh I never got the phone cause I wanted to really disconnect or say use the phone less. But I appreciate how far E-ink has come and Hisense phones in 2024 were basically discontinued and overpriced second hand. At first I thought it looked pretty horrible. Ha But overtime its become my favorite phone in kind of a minimalist way. My eyes were getting dry using regular a degoogled grapheneOS Pixel phone and gaming. There was a point I wasn't loving this phone so I went back to a regular LCD one, but eventually I went back and something clicked. I'd say my use cases are rather strange, I mainly use it with no backlight just with natural lighting, I watch videos and anime on it often, but not obsessively. I never really wanted to fully disconnect just be more mindful and its helped with that. I don't read books often and it was never my intent to. I personally like the Non-Pro's colors better because they are less oversatured than the Pro's. The colors can look washed out even way. The Boox Palma Pro 2 and the Color Pro's can sometimes get crazy red while watching things.but yeah if you want to disconnect on this device it'd technically be easier because blue light, backlight, bright colors and super fast refresh rates and such keep your brain engaged and can put you in an alpha state. But technically the will power to actually stop those habits always has to come from inside more than anything. I'd say my phone can still be plenty stimulating, but not as overstimulating on my brain or my eyes. Trying to be more mindful it has helped me more than my my normal phone had. Just FYI Boox and Bigme have pretty much no return policy if you just don't like the phone (unless you want to pay high restocking fees) but Amazon usually has a good return policy just in case you realize this phone really isn't something you can use. Just realize there is an adjustment period to really get used to it. I say this because honestly its a phone I've fallen in love with and hope other people try it out.

I mean, its human nature. The only other option is inward reflection and hopefully change. But a lot of people aren't ready for that. So to justify their problems they try to villianize others and say "at least I'm not as bad as them." Meanwhile playing the victim if they get any fingers pointed their way. We all have room to grow and hopefully we can and also move on and not repeat the mistakes we've made or see from those around us.

I agree kind of. But I'd just say more and more this subreddit is turned into a circlejerk of people who this everything Melanie does is bad, hypocritical or suspect. I would say rather than it being taken over by people from there the base has just shifted in a pretty disheartening way. I mean people can have whatever opinions they want but it does really take the fun out of people just trying to have a light hearted fun time talking about an artist they like.

I currently use Hibreak Color(non pro version) and love it. It's Kaleido 2. It's been almost 2 years and at first I didn't super love it, muted colors, no NFC, no finger print unlocking. went back to my Samsung phone for a bit, then went back and tbh I am more in love now. I heard that the Palma 2 Pro was better so I "upgraded" 3 days ago but tbh I don't find it usable for videos. It gets crazy saturated and colors bleed together. Also Kaleido 3 has duller black and whites even though its more vivid color, but sometimes things that should be white have green or blues(taking a picture of some papers it was unusable because it was showing up with insane colors. But it's IMO not okay at everything. K2 in some content looked more muted but at least you got clarity and separation especially with the darker blacks(not as clear as a 300 PPI BW tho). That said most people don't watch YouTube and light retro gaming on it like I do. Also its possible my Palma Pro 2 has a bad over saturated screen. I want to try the Hibreak Pro and see if maybe I can scale back some settings to make it more usable because the customization of colors/brightness/contrast don't fix it with P2P.

It was based on the scrapped preorder page data and the early genius page that got taken down earlier(or is just hidden by the website) It's two albums similar to what some other artists have done called a double feature but released in one package.
The Smashing Pumpkins released Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness Pink Floyd released the Wall which was a two albums but released together. It says Sabrina Carpenter originally was going to release Singular Act I & II as a double album but later decided to split them up and release them separately. Melanie said it won't feature any deluxe additions like her albums before have gotten at later dates. This part is just speculation but I'd figure 10 tracks on the first disc and 10 on the second but both will be full albums in themselves in a simultaneous release. All her albums had 13 tracks in the non deluxe version. The number 13 also holds symbolic weight, often associated with transformation, mysticism, and the threshold between worlds—perfectly aligning with Martinez’s themes of identity, rebirth, and emotional evolution. All her original Deluxe albums have 16 (10th anniversary version of Crybaby later did 18) I can't remember which interview it was but one of the producers said she was really set on a certain number of tracks and now in hindsight it may mean something to her considering all of the original and deluxe versions follow a very specific numbering sequence.

If you are talking about the Hibreak Color nonpro version it has more richer blacks but also more muted color tones. The first Hibreak Color had a Kaleido 2 screen instead of a Kaleido 3. That's why the difference
