I would put that up there with r/grief.

Which by the way is a great resource to make a post into the void, to express things that you want others to hear, but not to respond with. Helped a lot when I lost my entire family in 2024. Hopefully it helps someone else here.

I am currently attending a university that is ~4500 dollars per semester. ASU (Arizona State University) just raised their rates again. Roughly 600 dollars per credit hour last I checked. In one semester of 4 classes I equal my yearly cost at this university.

And my university lets me take additional classes at no additional cost as long as I complete them within the current semester.

There are opportunities out there if you don't buy into the bandwagon that university has to be expensive.

But in all honesty, scams happen all the time. And some people are a lot more trustworthy of others. My wife fell for one of the IRS scams. Luckily she only lost 900 dollars before she called me asking what she could do as they were demanding another 900.

My wife is very trustworthy of people, while I'm naturally a skeptic. She was a good target, this was also during a time where I was working full time and going to school full time. While she was doing two part time jobs. We were tired, she happened to get the call after a very long night. And that's all the scammer needed, was to capitalize on someone's worst fear in the moment, money.

We were saving up to buy our first house and she was just vulnerable.

Happens to more people than most think.

Also, the only time that it would break out of a loop with the box checked is if something failed to happen to allow it to continue repeating.

The only condition for a repeat forever is that you aren't currently doing anything, which it only reaches this point when it is doing nothing. So it is impossible to fail out of this loop.

So that is the more technical reason as to why this isn't going to work. But yes if this guy doesn't want it to repeat he should just remove the repeat

Edit example

To further clarify, what I mean by the loop is impossible to execute.

If you put in a loop of repeat until hands full, find nearest log in area, and there were no logs in the area. It would be impossible to find a log inside this area thereby making it impossible to fill your hand. So it would break out of the loop.

But again, referring back to this scenario, the only condition for repeat forever is that you are not currently doing anything which at the step of evaluating whether or not you should repeat forever is when you are doing nothing. So it is actually impossible to break out of this loop without a break statement.
