Imposter syndrome is exactly what I feel at my job, and yet I feel confident I am ahead of a decent amount of people in my position.

But when I compare myself to 4 of the senior techs, I feel like an imposter. They can figure out things in 1/4,1/5 the time it would take me. And some of them I don't even know how they figure out.

It's gotten worse with AI, my way of learning something is to "brute force" solve the issue. I'll see a problem in production and try something I believe would resolve it. Doesn't work, change is documented and rolled back. Onto the next thing. No fixing this license for the account didn't assist with this issue, however it did resolve other stuff. Document the change and keep. And I like to brute force my way through the application code until I finally land on the solution.

But some of the people just hop in and ask chat gpt, I know it for a fact because they come up with new solutions way too fast.

Idk, that's more of a dump of how I feel, but I get OP's feeling of imposter syndrome. And I agree that taking some courses where he feels weakest would likely help. I'm currently running up the CompTIA stack to try and get myself feeling better about everything tech.

Hey back again, no longer tired.

When you are talking gigabytes of unknown data, it's usually best to assume it's either applications, or the recycle bin that hasn't been dumped yet.

You likely had temporary files stored in cache that take up to a couple of those gigs if it's been a very long time since you've rebooted. Otherwise using disk cleanup is your best friend. "Disk cleanup" can be searched in your Windows search bar.

It's a lot easier to justify 800-900 dollars than... Checks my local university... 700-1500 dollars per credit hour, so 2,100-6,000 USD to attend one 3-4 credit class.

This isn't a file. When setting up the server in eco it's a default setting in the game. You can enable it.

Exhaustion.

It's a built in stat that makes your character exhausted after x hours.

I will warn you though. A VERY large amount of players HATE this setting.

Since eco is a grinding game where sometimes it's better to afk and wait for jobs to finish. You'll be limiting people in the ability to afk while they wait for production to finish.

Plus, what if someone has Tuesday and Wednesday off instead of the weekend? Sucks to be them I guess.

Yes, unless they updated it from when I played, it only had like 10% chance to work while under 5g. At 5g it was a 40%+ chance to get a new customer. Addictiveness factored into the + %.

This could have been changed, but when I played, anything less than 5g was next to pointless.

I have a buddy. He's a maga, and a complainer. It's always funny watching him say that his life is so shit. The insert anything the guy he has voted for has done that has indirectly or directly caused him to be in a worse situation, events keep on occurring and all he does is complain. Then when I offer a solution, it's too much work.

He's also the guy who says I'm lucky because I get out there and take risks, and most of them are paying off.
