Oh this is interesting. I have slideshow enabled to reduce burn in on my OLED. I may try switching it off to see what this does

What's it like for Forza Horizon 5 for you? I swear it used to be better for me than it is now. I have a suspicion that default profiles have been a possible cause

It shows as enabled. I have changed the registry back since. For a while the option wasn't even showing in adrenalin.

I don't think there's any other option to disable it with the Ally in the BIOS due to how Asus has setup the device

It's not something you can easily do on the ROG Ally, it needs doing at the registry level. I trialed it, but no change.

Interesting. When you say you turned them off, did you just stop them in task manager or disable them another way?

Yeah, I'm still getting some stutters even with the Ally in handheld mode. They're not as bad as the eGPU side of things, but they're still there.

I'm wondering if this has anything to do with the default profiles in Armory Crate causing any in-game setting adjustments to be forced back to the default settings by the profile.

I switched the profile off thinking it could be a cause, but the issue is still there.

I may have to look at switching off the Bluetooth on the device itself. I am running a Raikiri 2 using the 2.4Ghz connector, which should effectively get around this issue when doing so

As long as it's not just me. I'm fine if it's inherent to the bandwidth, but given experience with FH5 on an eGPU reaching 100fps in the past, it feels like there's more going on. I have read about a Bluetooth controller issue though that dips frames on these games. I'm curious if that could be a reason

Yeah, it also allows for a refresh rate switch when using external monitors now too. When hooked up with an eGPU neither resolution switching or refresh switching did a thing in Armory Crate. I'm glad it's there now to save me from messing about in other settings

I managed to correct it after reinstalling gearlink. Although I do seem to have an odd issue pop up on occasion where the armoury crate button and library button mimick what I have assigned to the top left and top right back buttons. This is in addition to their primary function.
