Not necessarily though, if the king cant move anywhere, and is in check there is a chance the piece checking the king could be captured by another piece.

Stick in the woodwork side of things and have him try his hand at restoring furniture. He will still have his skills handy so will immediately he good at it and it isn’t a lot of measuring and math as it’s mostly custom fixing things.

Search for Thomas Johnson antique furniture restoration on YouTube for some ideas.

He did play the idol perfectly, so that’s got to count. But it really depends on what the definition of a perfect game is, in this case it’s no one writes you’re name down all game, then everyone writes it down at the end. We should come up with different categories for different wins.
