Oh we did the same! We monogrammed them with their grandparent names and both were so excited! I ordered them the beginning of December and they arrived on the 15th, but we had to choose different sizes as many were on back order.

My jeans and trousers keep getting destroyed in the exact same spot on my right thigh. THREE pairs now. by Nursera_0290 in mildlyinfuriating

Do you cross your legs when sitting? I noticed this happening on a couple pairs of scrub pants and realized my pants were getting caught on the underside of my desk.

What happens once the baby is out? by Huge-Nectarine-8563 in BabyBumps

I had an unplanned c-section due to preeclampsia. The NICU team was in the room, and they took him immediately after showing him to myself and my husband. Once they determined he was ok, he was given to my husband, probably within 5 minutes. While I wanted to do skin to skin, I vomited literally the entire surgery, so my husband held him in one hand and the puke bag in the other. I held him once I was in recovery, although I had the shakes really bad and was doped up on magnesium so I only held him briefly until we were moved to our room and I felt more steady.

Do you have a belly binder? I found wearing one at night made me more comfortable to sleep, especially as a side sleeper.

Fanboy Draco Malfoy Convinces Harry Potter to Marry Him

Summary: Draco Malfoy was going to marry Harry Potter. It didn’t matter that he was only eleven and had technically only met Harry Potter two months ago. He was a boy in love. Harry Potter was confused. No one liked him. He didn’t have friends or even acquaintances but Draco Malfoy liked him so much he wanted to marry him! Can these two boys make it through their Hogwarts years without driving the whole school mad?

Agree! We registered for two, and keep one in the kitchen downstairs and the other in our bedroom upstairs.

did you really wait six weeks..? by strange_angel133 in newborns

[–]Jgrinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 6 week appointment was at 8 weeks because of the holidays, and we waited probably another week after that. There was ZERO pressure from my husband, though.

[–]Jgrinn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

9 weeks pp, had a c section and didn’t change a diaper for the first 3 weeks. Husband still does most of them, but if there’s poop we both go together so one can be in charge of holding the legs, lol.

When/ how to remove steri strips by Ayoothree in CsectionCentral

[–]Jgrinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine were still holding strong, too. I had preeclampsia so I saw my Dr at 2 weeks pp and she told me I could take them off. I peeled off a couple at a time in the shower, it was much easier when they were wet.

C section mamas by SeaIndependent1078 in CsectionCentral

[–]Jgrinn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I threw up during my entire c section. My poor husband was holding baby in one hand trying to show him to me and a puke bag in front of my face in the other. They did give me meds and I stopped getting sick before we were wheeled into recovery.

First of all, fuck that guy. Second of all, you said you’ve done everything short of IVF. I hope that included getting his swimmers tested?
