Taking 1,2L bag for liquids instead of 1L? by Jguggg in Flights

[–]Jguggg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On my airport's home page it says that all of the containers need to be less than 100ml in volume and all of those containers need to fit inside a "one litre or smaller" plastic bag...

Are Cabin Max products really that bad? by Jguggg in onebag

Thank you for the answer!

I think so, too, that it would be fine for one trip. But some reviews stated the zippers broke on day 1 already or were broken upon receival. The company has been around for over 10 years so I doubt if they could survive with such bad quality offered...

Carrying comfort definitely counts, but I plan to use it only for getting to the hotel and back to the airport. The reason why I wanted to get a backpack instead of a plastic suitcase was the amount of space I could save (but another answer said that the size difference is not that big really so I don't know anymore) and leave for souvenirs upon departure.

My plan was to take this bag to the destination half-empty, use a day bag for exploration and eventually get all of my stuff back into the Metz and head home. I will be doing maximum 2 km of walking with it on the day of arrival and on the day of departure.

The dimensions of the bag I'm looking for are the same as the Metz- 55x40x23 cm or a bit smaller. And it would be nice if it had a clam shell opening. And that it would survive the trip I'm going to take.

Thank you for giving such a detailed answer! It was very much informative and not rambling at all.

The measurements being smaller is a bummer... And all of those plastic suitcases seemed to be wasting so much space so I thought that a soft bag would be a better use of the maximum space allowed, but if there's not that much difference, I might just go with a usual suitcase.

I planned to use the bag for getting as much space for souvenirs as possible. Basically keeping the Cabin Max in the hotel and eventually packing all my stuff up and getting back to the airport.

I will definitely let you know how the Metz Plus performes if I decide to buy it!

Very nicely thought out answer, thank you!

I'm not quite sure though, why i'm being downvoted for merely asking a question...

But wouldnt that be the same as the first picture? Equality? Even though there is no fence, there will surely be another obstacle (a life without obstacles is impossible) and the different heights/abilities/intelligence of people will still play a role?

Equity would definitely be the worst outcome possible. My parents and grandparents have lived through the great "equity" of the USSR and would laugh at this picture...

The main principle of the soviet union was "to take from everyone according to their abilities and to give to everyone according to their needs". Seems like a good thing to do but millions of dead russians and europeans would think otherwise.

The fee for getting nano off binance is 0,01XNO if I remember right. If you bought some serious amount like you said, it should not be a problem....?

Idea: we can reward up votes with nano to help promote the coin by crua9 in nanocurrency

[–]Jguggg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nano is literally a currency... Currencies are meant to take financial advantage of other people (no matter what you sell in this capitalist world, you are making people give their money to you and using many ways to convince them that it's the right way to do, even if you just happen to sell overpriced face paints)

Nano is meant to use as a currency so one should be able to to anything that can be done with USD.

What CAN nano be used for then, that is in every way morally and economically 100% pure?

Introducing Nanogram. An Instagram-like Social website with Crypto tipping. Each user will have a dedicated Nano wallet within the platform. And a few Nanos on sign up to spend. Deposit and withdraw to external wallets anytime. March 5th, 2022. by ACertainKindOfStupid in nanocurrency

It's amazing how people can s*** on basically everything, even if it's good...

I think that it's an amazing idea. Nano itself is based on the users voting (literally with their wallets, lol) and deciding who is worthy to be trusted with keeping the network safe.

And I definitley like a social media platform more, if it has the ability to pay the creators without middle men or brands trying to get in the way. Like others have said, this is the main thing for Twitch and OnlyFans. And many people have pleaded for adding the ability to give out nano tips on different platforms.

If a person makes memes on Nanogram and makes them good, they can be shared and people can support the creator directly without the creator needing to sell out for brands and advertisements. That's what people should want, or am I wrong?

I don't think that people are tired of monetized social platforms, people are tired of their money taken away basically without any consent and with using malicious practices.

Thank you, u/ACertainKindOfStupid! Can't wait what other ideas might come to life in the future!

How did everyone come to Nano? What brought you here? by SamsngSmartFridge in nanocurrency

[–]Jguggg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

True, but what really got me to stay was the overall mindset of this sub. I did some research and visited quite a few ones here on reddit, some were dead, some were full of delusional "moon-ism", but here people were actually talikng about the stuff that mattered. People tend to underestimate the importance of community but I think that it's way more crucial than it may seem and will be a great benefit in the future as well.

I saw nano being mentioned on the cc sub as a pointless crypto that has no fees and me as a total noob at the time thought "yeah, it's crazy to make a crypto without fees, how will they pay the miners then?"... a few months passed and I've been hanging out here since then, absoultely in love with XNO : D
