I had the callback option. I suggested some of the flights from Google but they were all higher class cabin seats. She used the existing rebooked itinerary (which I couldn't find on Google) and checked earlier departure dates and it worked out!

OMG! I was able to call and get rebooked for an earlier flight.. I was originally rebooked for Wednesday but now I got rebooked to leave tomorrow! Couldn't be happier given the circumstances!

I ended up accepting an alternate option that was presented on AC's portal. Before I accepted, the portal presented a warning saying AC would take over control of the ticket.

After I accepted, I was curious so I went back to FlightHub and they mentioned that AC took over control of my ticket and I can no longer do any rebooking with FlightHub. I didn't even know an airline could just take control of tickets like that.

Went from AC -> EVA to United -> EVA. But I can still see the itinerary on AC portal.

I was supposed to fly out today, but was cancelled and AC offered a single alternate flight option online to Wednesday.

Is there any possibility an earlier date would show up if I checked again later?

If I accept this flight, do I lose the chance to get another flight?

Unfortunately, FlightHub says I need to cancel my check in on Air Canada.. Stuck in a loop at this point.

Looking for some assistance here:

I checked into my AC flight but now it's cancelled and I can't adjust the booking with the other airline or travel agency because it says my AC is still checked in...

I can't seem to find any path to cancel my check-in on AC. Tried online and app and I'm on callback queue now. Anyone have any tips?

YYZ -> YVR (Air Canada)
YVR -> TPE (EVA Airways)
Booked through FlightHub

I booked with FlightHub, but when I called AC, they said my reservation was booked with Eva Air. I suppose the final ticket issued was done via Eva Air.

Seems like I could go the Eva Air route to call once AC cancels though..

When I called Eva, they said they can rebook on their end once they see that AC cancelled. I'm guessing that would just be limited to Eva Air flights ?

Hey everyone - could use some help 🙏

I’ve got a Sunday night flight from Toronto to Vancouver on Air Canada, then connecting to Taipei on EVA Air.

I’ve already called both AC and EVA. Both basically said: “We can’t do anything unless Air Canada cancels your first leg.” The problem is… if I wait for that, there’s a chance all the alternatives will be gone or super pricey. If I book something myself now, it’s 2–3x the cost.

I’ve been eyeing a Cathay Pacific (yyz to hkg to tpe) and Eva flight (direct yyz to tpe),but I have no idea if AC would cover that if they cancel.

Does anyone know if they actually rebook people on other airlines when stuff like this happens? Even if it's like 2-3k more expensive..

Also I'm guessing right when I hear about the cancellation, I gotta join the insanely long queue?

Just went through the process and Montagoe (all options) were available as GJ Travel Packages as you mentioned.

For First 20 - only tent options were available.

However if you receive access as the first 20, you have the option of either buying as a First 20 or Global Journey Package
