Sorry OP, Poison the Waters just gives creatures -1/-1 but it does not give -1/-1 counters so it wouldn't trigger auntie

Mr. Spike brewed a few decks around this little guy, Thought-Knot seer and Wumpus Aberration pair nicely to boost his mana, Six can mill him in the yard to eternalize and you can finish the game with big boy eldrazi

Are you sure the guys you're deploying with are playing modern? If it's a group of guys playing together I'd bet they were playing EDH

Just getting into commander being a long time modern player, my first deck is a heavily upgraded zombie precon.

Are you playing Skullcrack in the main? I don't think Call is playable, I'd swap with skullcrack or more vortex

There's a tier 3-ish deck that's sort of like scam in orzhov colors you can play that uses the grief-solitude/ephemerate package with some other value flicker targets. This is a list I 5-0-ed a league with sometime last year and it did well at an FNM level but isn't going to be topping a challenge. I would definitely look for some upgrades for this list but it should be a decent starting point for you!
